@mommy3 I had a rash that itched really bad on my neck for a month, and anti-itch cream wasnt working. so I just went to a dermatologist who gave me a cream and it went away quick. i didnt even ask my ob about it because anytime I tell her anything she refers me to another dr and then her assistant harasses me all week to find out if I made an appointment
@mommy3 my doc is very nice about it...I actually don't look as big as I think I should based on my first...its lieterally ALL baby...even thow I tested negative for diabetes, they still test my sugar everytime bc she thinks I was borderline....I think some babies r just big...don't let ur doc get u down
@newmommy17 mine went away within a month or so & I didn't even think of just seeing a demeratologist.. I probably should've! & yeah, I deal with the same bs constantly. Tomorrow (today) is my 3d ultrasound & I'm more excited about seeing her little face rather than worrying what the dr will say.. I'm just gonna hope they don't ruin my good mood after the ultrasound.
at my 26 week appointment I was also measuring 4 weeks ahead at 30 weeks... but I just had my appointment yesterday (at 30 weeks) and now I'm only 1 week ahead, which is considered normal. I wouldn't freak too much, wait until your next appointment and see if you are still ahead of where you should be.
I was concerned about being dated wrong bc of how early i felt movement she has blowout parties in there. And I'm alot bigger this time around my dr said its bc she's my 2nd. I think you should switch dr/midwifes this is a special time and you sensitive and no one especially you health care provider should make you feel bad or chew you out
@newmommy17@vlynn15@robinlinlee83@aug5baby : So I had my ultrasound today.. & I was measuring exactly where I should, the baby is exactly where should be, and my fluid level was normal.. how in the world it went from such a huge deal to being fine today is beyond me, but I'm not complaining! Something tells me someone wrote something down wrong before and the different midwives I see aren't on the same page! Which is so annoying, butttt.. my little girl has the prettiest little face everrrr!! (:
@misskeribabee oh wow lol haha let's just take it as you'll get your pre-prego body back faster than most & baby will still be healthy as ever! That is weird though!! Oh & I'm also 29 weeks.. when's your due date?
@mommy3, yeah it is weird...but as long as my baby is ok then that's all thar matters. I was already over weight when I got pregnant though so when I lay on the table my bump kinda disappears since the top layer is fat lol. I think they should measure me while I am standing up lol. Anywho I am due. July 29th.
@mommy3 yay, so happy to hear!!!! dont u hate when its the doctors who over exaggerate?? Its not always us pregnant women being paranoid or hormonal lol
@misskeribabee, maybe you should ask them if they'll measure you while you're standing up.. the worst they'll say is no lol
@newmommy17, thank you! & omg yes, my ultrasound tech was talking to me after she got all the measurements & she was like between you & I, id request to see a dr instead of a midwife here because all the midwives over exaggerate everything! Haha & when I first went in there she had to ask me why they wanted me to have an emergency ultrasound because no one wrote down why or for what so I was like, she says I'm measuring too big so she wanted exact measurements of me, baby, and my fluid level.. yeah, how sad is it that I had to tell her what to do!?? & then once she got started I said um they told me this would be in 3d.. she said well they didn't write any details down but ill do it for you & she even made me a CD.. so thank god she was nice enough to do those things.. like I said, my office just stinkssssss!
@awhaley28540, I've gained 30 pounds but they're all wondering how because I'm seriously all belly & boobs! Oh well though, as long as the princess is cooking & healthy, ill be okay!!
