@angieahrens No worries. Im agreeing with you. If a woman feels an abortion is whats best for her, than who am I to say otherwise? Its not my decision to make for her. I know someone who became preggo by 3 different men to try and trap them into a relationship bc she wanted her son to have a father figure and after she became pregnant she realizes they werent gonna stick around so she aborted them. This was over a 2 year period... Just really f'ed up to me..
oh and totally random thought!!! God never makes mistakes right? God gave free will, and part of free will, is making choices. One of those choices is abortion. Was that a mistake he made giving abortion as a choice? Even tho man came up with the idea of abortion, if it were not to be a choice, would God have put it there in the first place?? Or perhaps the devil tainted the idea of free will in this one? Idk what I'm even talking about btw I just had that random ass thought that I figured might be apropriate for this discussion since you know, god, abortion, choices, all that stuff is being mentioned. lol
@angieahrens. A lady who counselled me when I gave my son up for adoption told me about her abortion. When they did the abortion it damaged her cervix because its forcing your cervix to be incompetent. She was never able to carry a child again even though she tried and prayed for a child for years. Unfortunately d&c's can have the same effect on a cervix.
And someone said that God will replace/redeem/or generally let you have another child to "replace" the one you lost but that isn't true for everyone. After giving my son up for adoption I felt like I had "done the right thing" people talk about how ur strong and made the right choice. I believed them and I believed strongly that when I wanted to have children that God would honor that. The second pregnancy I had ended in a miscarraige though. And by the time I was pregnant with my daughter I was terrified I wouldn't be able to have children.
That is one of the reasons I don't think abortion is a good choice. It may be the only chance you will get to have a child. We aren't gauranteed unlimited opportunities to have children. Each one is its own blessing.

I mean would you say God let you get raped and become pregnant because he knew you could handle it. Or would this be the work of the devil? What about cancer patients who die. They have hope and pray but still it was too much for then to handle.. So im not buying it..
Dont really think this is a fair post, There are always WHAT IFS, What if you were raped, what if a family memeber raped you, what if you knew that your health was a risk, what if you found out something was wrong with the baby, what if you found out you had cancer while pregnant, the list could go on and on. No one should judge anyone unless they can look in the mirrior and say they are perfect. Just saying
@luvbump I totally agree life can throw us loops we can't forsee. As a Christian I'm amazed that Jesus will walk us through those times but certainly life isn't always a bed of roses and each person walks through struggles in their life. We shouldn't judge someone for making choices in the midst of struggles. We certainly can't know what was going on in the persons heart at the time. Or what adversity they have been through
I would keep the baby and struggle because I knew what I was getting myself into by having sex in the first place.I will not kill my baby because of my irresponsibility.
@luvbump agreed, its very likely that the devil is involved in these horrid games, but there is also the whole, the people who go threw horrific things are God's soldiers, and God did this to them to prove that there are people out there who can withstand any situation, and that they are indeed stronger and more emotionally powerful than the rest. And that perhaps by allowing these bad things to happen or giving people more than they can chew and people seeing these strong souls overcome these situations or staying strong as they go further and further down hill gives them faith, thus, making the power of God even more real. ESP when a real miracle happens, such as when someone who had a horrid life got raped, had to deal with death repetitvely, has to fight off a deadly disease and lives threw it only to get married have a family and inspire others. Is that the work of the devil? or is that God trying to prove something?
Ok medical question - What if your pregnancy was eggtopic? You knew the pregnancy wasn't going to go full term, because baby can't grow there, and would eventually result in either a miscarriage or having to have the pregnancy terminated. Would you risk the horrible pain and possible damage that could mean you couldn't have children? It's as much a life as any other pregnancy so what would T9i do?
@praying4our3rd I'm listening are you! I'm simple saying if it was meant to be it would be! The world is full of what ifs! What if u didn't die? You can die frm a healthy you didn't stop having kids. No s**t the baby can't live w/o if u not at a certain point...lol! My belief is simple if God had planned for u to die it doesn't matter if u abort r not if your children are meant to be w/o you its already written! You r choosin to end b/c of you n your feelings n doin what u believe is best for u n your family just as anybody else who makes that decision!

It sounds some of u are speaking about God when u say ur against abortion. But if you believe God gave u a child u need to read ur Bible some more cause he doesn't like birth control either! ! God was the reason the egg met that sperm ! so if u believe in plan b u might as well believe in abortions! ! In the bible god destroyed a man for pulling out of a woman so the wouldn't conceive!! Get ur facts right ladies of the Lord!!! Life starts when god says so not when u and the latest technology does! Btw I would never shun or criticize a woman for her choice, I would tell her what is right according to God's word not the world's!

It just upsets me when ppl use God for justification of not aborting but turnaround n say well the pill is ok in God's eyes or plan b or abortion for only certain reasons read ur bibles some more before u talk about what God thinks is ok! There is under no circumstances reason to abort unless both mother and child will die. Not one or the other but both. Abortion is justified murder. There is adoption and plenty of people that will care for sick babies. I wo.t judge people but God will in this matter
I would not abort.I have been in that situation and I worked my ass off to get out of it.You have the power to change your life if you really want to.If I knew I couldn't handle it and that my child would suffer I think adoption would be a very suitable choice.
