  • My lil mans middle name will be daddys name, im not one for juniors either..Although i was named after my mom, i have a different middle name so im not a jr! :)
  • I agree with the ladies saying they wanted thier kid to have thier own identity.

My hubby wanted our son to have his name, but I refused. We finally agreed on Aizik for our sons 1st name. I decided we could give him Adrien as his middle after his daddy, but I changed the A to an E instead.

Our daughters name is Ayden. We decided with that one because its similar to his name. He middle name is similar to mine. I'm Rylee and she's Rylene.
  • Plus, I would be severely disgusted if I called out my hubby's name in the bedroom... and then it made me think of my son. Yuck!!! Lmao. No Jr.'s... be original!
  • I would never more for legal and credit reasons later in life my bf's name is rick and his dads name is Ricardo.. well needless to say their legal things always get mixed up and now were getting his dads mail and we live 17 hrs away from him!!
  • I posted a discussion about the same thing a few months ago if you wanna check it out. Also posted about regretting my daughter's name as well.
  • Well honestly none of my kids Are juniors. To be exact, I believe each individual should have their own designated name. My excuse Was i didn't another replica of the father in my son. Nor my daughter be me. Each name is special but please let's limit our juniors!
  • Beep Beep ME....LOL my husband name is Kenyatta which everyone think he is a woman Kinte uhh after Kunta Kinte from the movie Roots Uhhh NO.... so I hope that sums it up LOL
  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • We are giving our son my husbands middle name.
  • When my man 1st brought it up, I said okay...then I changed my mind a week later. But we came 2 an agreement that since he doesn't have a middle name, we would give the baby a different 1st name and make hubby's first and last name, baby's middle & last name. Clever ! Lol
  • It was never an option. I hate my bfs middle name. I have a friend that named her son after her hubby turned out to be a druggie piece of shit in jail and last year when he was 5 she legally changed his name...let him pick it out as a bribe so he wouldn't give her any problems about it.
  • I don't want to but apparently I don't have a choice. I think my man's name is unique and we should give our son a different unique name but I'm not getting my way so our son's name will be Mister Antonio Lawrence Jones Jr. :-(
  • Oddly enough we decided that I would name any girls we had and he would name any boys. We already have 2 boy names picked out. The first boy would be after his father Naymond and the second after him Robert...I would prefer Maurice...but its a girl so I don't have to worry about it lol.
  • If i were having a boy he would have my husbands first name as his middle name but my husband doesnt have a common name at all lol. But its a girl so she'll have the same middle name as me :)
  • I hate family names personally.
  • We was going to name baby alfie Jack but someone said to my fiancee how about alfie Joe (his name Joe) and now he is set on it but we also adding my real dad's last name in it to so baby will be alfie Joe Travis goodhand we think will prob change before he gets here haha :)
  • Our first son is named after both grandpas, and our second will have his middle name as my husbands first name. I don't regret this one bit because my husband is a great father to our son. He didn't want me to carry through with the pregnancy at first but realized the risk of abortions just do not outweigh the pregnancy itself and changed his mind. Funny thing is you would never know this now seeing him with our oldest, he couldn't picture his life without the little man. Nothing makes his day than when he comes home from work and ourlittle guy screams daddy and runs into his arms.

I will never regret my choice. :)
