I don't normally shop at goodwill, but I did today for maternity clothes...I figure I'm only gonna wear em for a couple of months, and I only paid 7.99 for a pair of jeans.
I bought yoga pants and a maternity tanktop at Old Navy. I'd suggest looking at Goodwill type places for bigger stuff. Maternity clothes are expensive and usually pretty ugly, but you might be able to find some dresses or long shirts and some jeans you can cut into shorts at a thrift shop. You have to sift through lots of crap, but you never know when you'll find something cute!
I bought the maternity paints of the same kind in different colors caz I was going every 4 weeks and just got couple shirts in bigger sizes..7 month mark I just statred completely wearing dresses..hope it helps @xlovebzdlx
I got the cutest cheapest stuff on eBay and at a consignment sale. Literally, I paid $1-$7 for shorts, dresses, tanks, work shirts, business pants, etc. If you want new things, Burlinton Coat Factory is uber cheap with a decent selection (and you can run over to Baby Depot while you're in there :-D ) Happy hunting! Also, you can post a wanted as on Freecycle.org. I got TONS of free stuff!
you can find all the good sales tomorrow!! memorial day sales are by far one of the best. try not focusing too much on it having to be maternity but just wants stretchy and feels comfortable. im huge now but i just buy size L at the stores i usually shop at. also go straight to sale racks their the best!!!
I just paid $110 for three pairs of capris and a T shirt. Im plus size and the only place I could find maternity clothes that fit was Motherhood. I was so depressed shopping for maternity clothes on Saturday because they have a very small plus size section and the prices were outrages. I learned that if you are twice the size, you pay twice the price. I had no choice but to spend that much money because I need maternity clothes. It's a shame though because I will only be wearing them for four months.
