my aunt died from going vbac, her uterine scar ruptured mid delivery and she bled out. this was only about 8 years ago, she got massive blood transfusions but they were unable to stop the bleeding. It was her third child, first two were csections. Sure, you don't have to have a second section, but I will take a repeat section any day rather than to risk that happening to me.
Hehe I wondered...yeah I've heard tho that I'd u try and have a vbac after more then 1 section ur risk goes way up...but of course if my Dr says my risk is to high I won't do a vbak
I had a c section with my first one cuz he was too big for me. I was in labor for 2 days and they had to do an epidural to me 2 times cuz the first one they messed up. agh! the thing that got me so mad was that the whole time i was in labor the Docs knew that id end up with a c section no matter what YET they let me go through the whole labor pain. it was terrible. and when i found out i was having a c section it broke my heart. but it went well, it took time to heal ofcourse but now that im preg with my second one my Doc tells me i might have to go through it again. I guess i really got no choice. (im very tiny and small but carried a big baby) so they think it will b the same. atleast i know im having it and I know the due date (Aug 19). Hope everything goes good!
My son will be almost 3 when this new baby comes...I read that the risk of a uterine rupture is much less if its been longer than 2 years...there's still so much more to research but that's the route I'm gonna try to go...
Well ladies...i kno in the state of FLA. If yu are on yur second pregnancy && yur not 5 yrs or more apart from yur first pregnancy they WILL NOT attempt vbac. My friends cousin died from vbac...her scar from her first csection ruptured from the pressure of her pushing. She hemmoraged && her && the bby passed. . Ive heard another story of the same thing happening to one of my guy friends xgirlfriends. Id much rather go thru da pain of a 2nd csection && my bby && i b alive den tryin to go vbac && risking somethin happening. Thats jus my opinion!! Gud luck ladies!!
