  • play it by the weather and the baby. If you can't make it you definitely have Christmas to make it up bc you know the family will want to see the baby and celebrate.
  • Yea i know, we do thanksgivong w/ his family and christmas with mine, its usually not really cold in texas around november (high 70s during the day)..so its not really the weather im worried about.. i guess i dont want a lot of folks suffocating my newborn lol....but i know they want to see him and i wanna go so ill just have to make sure hes not getting passed around and itll be fine....
  • I will take Blueberry.
  • @blueberrysmom Im thinking about it! I love my in laws and i know theyll be dying to see him...last year they blew up me & hubbys phone, and thats w/out child so i know theyll be buggin us to come....ill just have to guard him and make sure his not being passed around....dont wanna catch great uncle so-and-so holding my baby boy in one hand while licking his fingers clean...lol my hubby also has an aunt whos notorious for kissing babies in the mouth so i have to be on the look out for her!!

  • Im Due Labor Day But I Will,Have My Baby Home
  • My baby is due on christmas so if he/she comes before then we will stay home... I don't take my babies out when they are just days old... Even though the weather will be good since there is no winter in hawaii lol
  • I was born on November 16th n my mom took me to the thanksgiving shin dig n had no problems at all. Just make sure everyone has clean hands if they are going to hold the little one n that no one has a serious cold. I think you would be ok doing so :)

  • My son is due just before his big brothers 5th birthday. Im in a complete panic about having it all organised and making sure he has the best day before hand. Needless to say I have my mum in charge of picking things up and last minute organising lol
  • My daughter is a turkey baby every 7 years she was actually born a few days after thanksgiving but my birthday was 4 days after she was born we went out to dinner I just kept her in her seat and covered. We lived in san diego at the time so it wasn't very cold. We had her at the familys at 10 days old my mom was down visiting and we had a huge dinner. She was fine.
  • I'm due the day before thanksgiving I know she will come early I won't be taking my baby out. Family or not I don't want people touching my baby. I'm kinda a biotch when it comes to that. If it were only up to me no one would see the baby till she's six weeks but I know my husband will want people to come visit
  • Im due a month before thanksgiving abd thinking about still having dinner at my home, but my family alreadys knows to stay away from babies room lol

  • I have been thinking of not letting anyone see the baby (after delivery and out of hospital) until 3 months. DH wants to keep it that way but I know my family will be wanting to be over cuz we r all so close. But I agreed to at least a month for sure! Simply cuz I want my time with Jeremiah first. I don't want to have to pass him around. So just at home thanksgivings for us 3
