Opinions on these names please...
Hubby and I found out 4 weeks ago that we are having a little girl. Since we thought we were having a boy we only had a boy name picked out. Now we're struggling to pick a name - it makes it harder because I know the middle name, Ann (after my mom & my grandmother who passed away last November). Here are the two names we've talked about:
Harper Ann Hughes
Lydia Ann Hughes
I love Lydia but my hubby says it's too old fashioned. I also like the name Elle but it doesn't go w/ Ann. I've been trying to think of a name I could use Elle short for (like Eleanor).
Thoughts???

but Harper is cute too
Eleanora is the Italian version of Eleanor. It's pronounced elle-lay-ah-nor-ah, but you could pronounce it elle-ah-nor-ah.
Elena is another Italian name (its Helen), and pronounced elle-eh-nah.
others that could use Elle as a nick name...Elliana, Elizabeth, Elisabetta, Eloise...
Thanks for your comments. It's a good thing I have 17 weeks because I'm so torn. I love that Lydia is an old fashion name and wish my husband would come around to it. I also think Harper is a cute name (although very gender neutral) and I love that it's unique. Hubby is leaning toward Harper because he suggested it. LOL Although I'm not sure he'll feel the same way once I tell him the Beckham's used it @mrs_shu.
@Soon2BMomOf2under2 I love Elliana. I've never heard it before. I'm definiteyl going to add that one to the list (if hubby approves of course ). I'm still not sure if Elliana Ann would work - of course it's not like people will go around calling her by her middle name.
This is about to stop being a partnership! Lol
@MrsForsee he's already shot down Lyla. I suggested it the other day. Thanks though.
