There is a twilight thread, so I gotta make one for us HP mommies!

What do you ladies think of the movies finally ending?! It makes me so sad! The ending of an age... It's finally over! :(( how many have seen the last movie? Who cant wait to see it? I went to the midnight premier!

  • Heck I cried. A few times. I didn't cry as much as when I actually read the book the first time though. I was so sad. They ending was awesome. I'm so glad they did the years later thing. There was a few things I was afraid they were going to cut out and they didn't. I was so happy about that. I can't wait for her to write more. Whether it's a hp part series or not I would still read it. She is such a fabulous writer.
  • Neville: Let me get this straight, Professor. You're giving us permission to do this?
    McGonagall: That is correct, Longbottom.
Neville: So, blow it up? Boom?
    McGonagall: Boom!!
Neville: Wicked. Um, and how exactly do you propose we do this, Professor?
McGonagall: Why don't you confer with Mr. Finnegan? As I recall, he has a particular proclivity for pyrotechnics.
  • I loved when McGonagal* made the statues to the school come to life and she giggled and said ''i always wanted to use that spell" as these huge statues walked past her :)
  • I loved it all. I'm so sad its over but I can't wait for the box set of all 8
  • i grew up in a HP family and proud of it!! lol the finale mpvie was AMAZING!!!!!! all the quotes said above are freat parts in the movie lol. and i cried 2 times and im not even preggo:)
  • @addi3886 I knowww! My parents haven't seen it yet, and I want to get them to go see it SOOO bad just so I can see it again! :D

@sweetsurprise That's the only reason I stopped buying the dvds after movie 4... and because I kept losing them. ^^; lol. But once I've got the box set, it's not going anywhere except in my player and on my shelf! I'm protective of certain collections, certain movies and definitely certain books being part of that protection. I get uuber defensive if someone touches them! D: lol!
  • I was really disappointed in the last movie. I expected it to follow the book as well as they did in part one but it didn't do the book justice.
  • @rockinmomma I haven't read the book since it first came out, so it was almost like a new experience for me again. lol. But I gotta say that I was honestly disappointed in the epilogue all together. =/ She should have been more creative in the names of the children. PLUS WHERE THE HECK WAS TEDDY LUPIN IN THE FRIGGIN END OF THE MOVIE?! Wasn't he supposed to be like, making out with some chick when they were boarding the train? And the movie didn't even really mention him aside from the cutoff when they were transporting Harry at the beginning of Part 1. =/
  • I loved it :D I need a marathon night
I also loved the books better cired more and that was before I was pregnant
  • @bbylucasmomma I actually didn't cry at all during the last movie. But that's cuz I was busy being mad at the audience for ruining the midnight premier by applauding the movie every 10 minutes. Excuse me, they can't hear you!
  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • Lol I didn't cry at the movie either part 1 I did though
Applaud? ? What the heck is wrong with those ppl??
  • I cried like a baby.
