It will wear off if you received iv medication it causes swelling I found put my feet in the air on a wall to let my feets blood circulate. Hope it helps I had preclampsia while pgnt my liver was failing. I have bp problems now. Had to have a c section my baby was four esos early
Uggh I had it with my daughter I hated it when my feet n legs swelled up it was so much pressure and I could literally feel the water swishing around in my body u poor thing I kept my feet elevated and soaked them a lot I practically kept them in one of those foot spa things but unfortunately ain't to much u can do but wait the 5 weeks I feel so bad for u as I have been thru it myself
im drinkin plenty of fluids and i was taken off iv last night im not allowed to walk either besides to the bathroom and it hurts to walk. im just so uncomfortable and grossed out by the swelling.
@vayanna i know its awful im on the verge of tears, i hate this. ive been laying with my feet up since i got home and its not helping at all. im really hoping the dr decides what is going to happen soon
omg although i dont want to b induced this early i dont want to b like this for the next 6 weeks. i have a feeling im having my baby girl next weekend, im so scared

i had that with previous pregnancies and nothing helped it,though they say rest,elevate your feet and drink extra water. hope you get to feeling better.
@jazzi89 I am due Sept 10. They are inducing me at 37 weeks which is 19 days from now if everything stays under control. You're gonna hate me but, I have been lucky and have had no swelling..I've.heard water helps as well as laying in the bath. How high is your pressure?.
hmm mayb we will have our little ones at the same time, they are talking about induction at my appt tomorrow. and omg ur lucky you dont have swelling, my poor foot hurt so bad! my pressure was all over the place yesterday when i was at the hospital. the lowest was at 137/63 i had the bp machine beeping at me throughout the day
Keep me posted about what happens at your appointment. I've got an appt today at 230 my blood pressure was high yesterday eventhough I am on meds. I can't wait til this is over. Where do you live?
ya mine is at 230 tomorrow. im not on meds at the moment just complete bedrest besides going to the bathroom. ya i cant wait till its over too, im beyond done with this pregnancy. im in wisconsin.
I have the same thing, mine are huge! Even my legs, hands & wrists. I have tried to stay off my feet as much as possible, soaking, baths, water everything! Sometimes nothing helps at all. Feels like when you stand your legs/feet are going to shatter. Trust me I feel you're pain, hopefully I only have 2wks left, apt on thursday for growth ultra sound & hopefully induction talk
