Doin all that on phone took awhile lol! Thank you ladies for all your support, congratulations & well wishes She's doing great & I feel amazing. Not having any tears or stitches is a welcome relief lol. Daddy & I got some sleep, he has to leave in 30 mins to go to work but sister & brother will be here w/ nana & papa later. I'm waiting to get my tubal done so I can eat cuz I'm starving. Didnt eat from 12am Tuesday til 9pm Tuesday & I haven't been able to eat since 12am this morning & they don't know when they can get me in so it could be this afternoon before I finally get something.
Good luck to all the other expecting mommies, congrats to those of you that have had your precious bundles & for those ttc I pray you get your bfp asap!
Oh my gosh what a happy birth story. Congrats to you and your family. Happy birthday sweet baby girl. Btw love love love the name you chose for her. Congrats again mama!!
Sorry ladies I didn't type all the names again, tried to copy & paste but it wouldn't let me I'll be on a computer tmrw & I'll tag everyone & inclue pics.
Ok here's the update:
I was supposed to get my tubal done at 9am but 10am came & I was still waiting. At 10:30 my nurse said they got backed up in l&d & I was "on call" so I wasn't able to eat until it was done. The hours kept ticking by & I was beyond starving. Due to the fact I was supposed to have a c-sec I hadn't eaten since 12am Tuesday morning & I didnt have her til 8:14pm Tuesday night. When I got to my recovery room I had a 6in from Subway which was delicious but nowhere near satisfying. My nurse said she was gonna check to see what they had leftover from the 8pm snack & bring me back something. An hour later she still didn't come back. My RN came in to check me & I went to use the bathroom & she said I had to call my NA because I couldn't get outta bed w/o her assistance. Called her & she came in about 10mins later. It's 11:40pm I use the br & ask her if I can get a snack "oh yeah I'm sorry I was gonna check on that for you" was her response. She leaves & I'm waiting (my husband is passed out snoring in the corner, he had to be up @ 5 to go to work) I'm watching the clock as it gets closer to 12 & finally I said "f" this, I went to the pantry & got a huge bucket of ice & called my NA again. I asked her again if she'd gotten me anything, "you only had until 12 to eat since you're having a tubal in the morning" WTF??? IT WAS ONLY 12:04!! So I sat there and ate my ice anyway. Fast forward to 2pm & I still haven't been called in & I'm about to eat my arm off. I called my RN & asked if they had a time frame yet. She called l&d then came & told me that it would be at least a couple hours possibly more. At that point I said I wanted to cancel it because I couldn't wait to eat. I'd had 3 doses of Tylenol 3 w/codiene on an empty stomach, I was getting backed up & had horrible cramps & pain from them so she said ok give me a few minutes to change ur info & then you can order food. An hour later I was enjoying a cheese omelet, hashbrowns, sausage, pumpkin nut muffin & chocolate milk all was right with the world again. @ 6 my nurse came in & said l&d called to let her know they could finally fit me in if I changed my mind & she told them id eaten so it had to be rescheduled. My doctor came in shortly after & we had a long discussion about everything that happened & she was more pissed off then me. She told the l&d staff that she would come in at 5am Wed & do the procedure but they had an emergency c-sec so it didn't work out. She then told them that because Wed was her late office day she wouldn't be able to do it any earlier then 7pm. Well the l&d staff didn't forward that message to my RN before they switched shifts so I was starving for no reason because I was able to eat breakfast & lunch as long as it was before 2pm. My RN filed a complaint as well as my Dr & the manager was notified & she was pissed. She came in & personally apologized to me & said it should have never happened especially since you just had a baby & you need to replenish yourself & instead your bodies starving because of the stupidity of the staff. All was good after that. I got my dinner (baked mac n cheese, garlic redskin potatoes, salad, cheesecake & choc milk. That ends the drama filled hospital stay lol.
At 8pm Jordyn, Brayden, Nana & Papa came up to meet Aydrian & it was so cute to see them interact w/ each other. Brayden wasn't happy at first cuz he's Papa's sidekick so when he was holding her he gave him the evil eye the whole time. Jordyn for some reason thought her sister wasn't real & we were lying about her cuz she looked at her & said I guess sister wasn't a story after all. They left at 9:30 & then it was just Aydrian & me. We went & raided what was left of the snacks in the pantry (choc cake & a giant sugar cookie lol)
The next morning we were discharged & happy to be gettin out! Warren was at work til 5 so my dad picked us up & we went to his house til Daddy came & picked us up. My aunt was in town from TN so some family came over for a mini bbq so it was nice getting to spend time w/ so much family instead of sitting in an empty house all day w/o cable. Nana & Papa kept the kids cuz Nana ended up working late so the house was uncommonly quiet. Aydrian is an awesome sleeper. She only cries when she's hungry or naked. (For now!) The kids came home @ noon today & I thought it was gonna be chaotic but it was unrealistictly calm. Warren's off for the weekend but the real test will come on Monday because when he leaves at 7am he won't be back until 6pm Tuesday. I know this is super duper long but I wanted to get it out of my head while its fresh so later I can print it out & put it in my journal.
