So Wat birth control is da best? Iv heard sum make u lose ur sex drive, sum make u gain so much weight, sum make u depressd... is dat all Tru.. cuz I jst had ma first two weeks ago n wit all da pain I went threw n ma relationship changing n ma mood swings n everything I went threw during pregnancy well I really jst wana wait n take care of ma self.. n ya da best way is not having sex bt who doesn't love sex lol :) jst need advise

    It all depends on the person! I just do t suggest an iud.. I got pregnant on that lol

    The pill always worked fine for me...until I stopped taking it and got pregnant. I took ortho tri cyclen for like 5 years. I'll probably go back on that or get the Implanon.

    I DON'T recommend the depo shot, worst birth control ever..& I got preggo on it. Caused me to have migraines everyday, gained 25lbs, even on a healthy diet & exercising everyday ;( & MAJOR mood swings

    Planned parenthood website has a quize you can take (really short, I promise) that can help find what's best for you. Then it lists them, side effects and such.

    Im leaning towards implanion or the patch.

    Depo is a no go for me!

    google implanon and side effects before you get it. There are alot that doc don't mention. I hated it.

    Implanon was horrible for me. Gained 30 pounds had migraines frequently and I got depressed. Then I had to jump through hoops just to get it taken out. Then after I got it taken out it took me 6 months to get pregnant. I'm planing on takin the pill after I have my baby.

    This wednesday im getting the Implanon. Cant take pills cuz im still breast feeding. Depo made me gsin weight back when I was 13. Im also bad at taking pills. Hope this birth control works for me. I jus pray I dont gain weight.

    I had a lot of side effects from the patch but switched to loestrin 24fe and LOVED it. Short, painless periods (short=3 days). I just set an alarm to remember to take it.

    I've been on Ortho Novum 777 and it took my sex drive. I was on the depo shot and it made me eat like crazy...I was on the patch and it made my hair fall out... The best birth control I've used was Lo Estrin (sp?)...It's a pill and it's awesome....I stopped taking it because of a change within my ins. and as soon as I did I got preggo. I plan on getting back on Lo Estrin after baby...
