Seeing stars with cervix check??

Yes...it sounds weird doesn't it?

So as stated in my previous post I got my cervix checked yesterday due to extreme pelvic pain but what was weird and I just remembered was that when the doctor was checking me and I was feeling all that uncomfortable pressure I started seeing like little stars @-)

....this sounds so weird but wondering if anything like this has happened to anybody else? :/

    Hmm I don't know but I think its uncomfortable but shouldn't be painful. Maybe they were stripping membranes or being rough. Hmmm

    Maybe you were inadvertently holding your breath and that caused you to see stars.

    @one5one Maybe it wasn't really painful but I just felt soooo much pressure :-(

    @headersue Ya know, now that I think about it I probably was holding my breath! My body just got so tense that I didn't even notice I was holding it lol!

    Glad it wasn't painful!! Never had my cervix checked but in labor with my first. It sounds scary....seeing stars and all. But its not painful.... phew!

    Were you laying back? I start to see stars sometimes when im on my back.

    Yep.thats probably what it was then. Its probably how the baby was laying. It happens to me alot. The first time it happened I freaked & thought my blood pressure maybe to high. So I rushed to walmart to check it & it was fine. Lol. Thats why they say dont sleep on your back. Unfortunately I cant even really lay on mine.

    @Mimii36 but it was just when the doctor was checking me and I was feeling all that pressure then as soon as he stopped it went away. Sometimes my vision gets cut off (you know when you rub your eyes really hard you can sometimes see like little vibrating circles?) but thats due to stress :-(

    Probably just because you were uncomfortable added to the fact you were laying on your back. If it hasnt came back then I wouldnt worry!
