induction, if not pitocin what else?

If they need to induce labor, and I keep.reading that pitocin is the worst to have used, what else does everyone recommend asking the Dr to use?

The business of being born is a biased documentary. I wouldn't take much from that documentary as gospel fact.

Cytotec is the other drug.
Inducing is stressful, because you're forcing your body to do something it isn't ready for. But I was induced with cervidil and then pitocin and I had an easy labor. I did get an epi though.

Inducing is stressful, because you're forcing your body to do something it isn't ready for. But I was induced with cervidil and then pitocin and I had an easy labor. I did get an epi though.
