Im working until Oct. 28th or some where in that week and im due Nov. 1st im only getting 6weeks off. That's why im working pretty much till my water breaks!!
@kristaf22 I cant decide if I would be bored out my mind or if I would be loving it if I didnt work this whole pregnancy! But one things for sure...i would be sooo fat because I would be home eating everything!! Lol!
I'm due Nov. 12th. I'm working right up until I have her - unless the doctor says otherwise. I want every minute of my maternity leave spent with her so I'm working as long as possible!
I want to stop workin now seeing as though my job is very stressful nd risky I write parking tickets so I pretty much walk 8hrs a day while gettin cursed out nd threatened mst of that time but I just started wrkin full time so I'm goin to try to make it to october I'm due nov 10th
@monkeymam lol. I said the same at first but now im having second thoughts! Plus my hospital is about 40 minutes away from my job! So I had to decide against waiting until my water breaks! Lol
when i got pregnant i planned on working untill delivery if it was possible but things are getting more difficult for me and my job is cutting my hours so as soon as hubbys job becomes full time which he is working on right now i will be putting in my 2 week notice and im due on nov. 18th
@sweet1 I understand. It seems like with each shift my body is fussing me out..telling me to just stop! I wish I could stop now honestly but I would miss the money.
@mimii36 That's the major reason why I won't/can't stop, and why I'm taking as little time off after the baby comes. Money. I would -love- to be a stay at home parent, but just can't afford it.
I'm due November 9th, I had planned on working til the end of August. I knew I couldn't do longer than that cuz my job is very physical....but my body had other ideas in mind. My doctor told me I could no longer work at 17 weeks (June 2). But I'm totally okay with it cuz aside from not having to stress anymore I'm actually making more money from disability!!! I started at a new shop earlier this and wasn't making hardly anything...around $500 every 2 weeks. But I guess they went off of what I made last year cuz I'm now getting almost $800 every two weeks. Last year I was earning around $1200+ every 2 weeks. So definitely worth going on maternity leave early!
@mimii36 ...I work with people with "special needs" and all my clients live near from my hosp...actually if im at home the distance from.my house to the hosp its 25 mints.....its better if my water breaks at work.....lol
@monkeymam Because the board of directors was a bunch of slackers who didn't want to fulfill their responsibilities to the organization by giving money and helping to raise funds. I've been a fundraiser for 15 years and they wouldn't do anything I told them to. So, we never had enough money and they wanted me to raise it all by myself which is impossible. Plus, I called them out on what they weren't doing. Too bad cuz the kids really need a strong organization and the board won't step up. I personally donated ten times more money than some of the board members. It's okay, though. We can afford for me not to work, I get unemployment, Blueberry won't have to go to daycare, and now I can start my own business as an event planner which I'm very good at and I love.
