how early did u have first ultrasound???

I'm really nervous... just 5 1/2 weeks. We miscarried last October... now due in October... will be calling Dr tomorrow to try and get an appointment... how early did u have an ultrasound to put your mind at ease... I have very minimal symptoms also... I kinda wish I wad throwing my guts up....

    My first appt was at 8 weeks and I was able to see my little one

    We went in with me and my doctor thinking I was right at 8 weeks according to last period . When they did ultrasound I measured 6weeks6days. We actually saw baby and heart beat!! We were so excited because I know not everyone can see it that early. At your first appointment your doctor should tell you approximately what weeks they do ultrasounds at. Mine said 8 weeks, 18-20 weeks, and 28 weeks. More if nessecary.

    I was scheduled for one at 12 weeks (still am), but I had an emergency one done at 7 weeks to make sure I didn't have a miscarriage. Not too much to see at that point, but we did see a heartbeat. :)

    I would not reccomend it before 7-8 weeks. I'm just saying from experience. I had my first on Fri. I thought I was 7w1d but the baby measured 6w0d. There was no heartbeat. My Dr has basically Told me it stopped growing and I will miscarry soon. He didn't say anything like I could have ovulated late or anything like that. I go back Wednesday and will be 6 w5d. I'm PRAYING to see a heartbeat. Its just too much worry to go thatearl...speaking from experience

    My first ultrasound will be at 19 weeks on Friday to see what we r having. We have heard the heartbeat every appt so far. We r so excited to finally see our baby! :-D

    I had my first sono and heard the heartbeat at 7 weeks...they thought I was 8 according to my lmp but baby measured 7..today I'm 12 weeks :)

    had my first ultrasound at 6wks at the er bc of spotting... didnt see much, but did hear a heartbeat. My 2nd one was at the obgyn and i was 10w1d and we could see the baby and it moving around =)

    @pregojenn. . .omg, I thought I was the only one having my 1st u/s at 19weeks. . .I thought it was so late, now I don't feel as bad, can't wait until Thursday..! :)

    With my first pregnancy I had my first ultrasound at 20weeks and 1day. I don't mind having an ultrasound around that time but I think after that it should one every month til due but every 2 weeks to the doctors to hear the heartbeat (check-up). ***I had a still born at 25weeks. and where I am from they only give you one ultrasound which is around 20weeks. unless you are high risk.
    I know this didn't really have nothing to do with the topic but sort of kind of.

    I had one at 4 w 6 d just bc of previous mc and previous medical problems he wanted to make sure there was a pregnancy just saw lil sac and lil dot as u can see in my pic I go back at 7 w6d to hear heartbeat...I'm excited!

    I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks 6 days and I was able to see the sac and my bean of a baby =)

    I m/c last feb and found out in Aug expecting again, went to a clinic cause I was so scared of another m/c. I was only 6 weeks, It took the nurse maybe an hour to find the heartbeat, so greatful she kept trying. 29 weeks tomorrow :)

    With my 3rd I had one at 5 weeks they couldnt find the heart beat of corse so she took blood and put me on prgestrone cuz mine was really low and has 2 previus mc...came back at 6 weeks for a check up could see lil more of the baby but no heart beat took more blood...progestron levels going up and back at 8 weeks heard the heart beat and took more blood and levers were great....was on the progestron till 20 weeks...now preg with my 4th and everything was ggt from the start...goodluck

    @preggojen I think u jus made my day I been depressed because soon as I found out (cuz I didn't take a at home pregnacy test). I wanted an u/s but my first one will b on the 14th of march can't wait thought I was the only one waitin this long

    My OB won't perform a US until 10-11 wks, & then a 2nd one at 20 wks. She says an US any earlier freaks women out when a heartbeat can't b found. I'm 9 wks 4 days. 1rst US will b in 1.5 wks.

    I had my first ultrasound at eight weeks because I was not entirely sure of my last period so they used an ultrasound to find my due date... I was told they usually do your first apt around that time too. I wouldnt worry about not feeling very sick, I never was and my pregnancy is going fine... My dr.just says I am one of the lucky ones who dont get very nautious, maybe you are too! Good luck!

    5 weeks, just a sack, 6 wks baby but no heartbeat, 7 weeks heartbeat, now (10w5D) i went thursday and seen my lil one playing it was so sweet he/she is super active, i cannot wait to feel the movements. >:D< i go for an anatomy scan on tuesday.

    IM HIGH RISK AS I HAVE A HISTORY OF MISCARRIAGE AND ECTOPIC.
    my ultrasounds will taper off after 2nd trimester

    I had my first at 13 weeks but that's cause my doctor thought I was having twins. Then I had another one at 17 weeks and then at 20 weeks my next one will be in 2 weeks and I will be 28 weeks.

    I had my first ultrasound the 22nd of February 5 weeks and 5 days and it was so tiny! They said due Oct 20th! I have another one 8th of February, so excited cuz I get 2 find out more information :D

    It was amazing too cuz there was a heartbeat so early I could see it flickering!!! So exciting!

    Pooh22 glad to hear it! It sucks to wait but it will be worth the wait. They told me to bring a dvd and they can put the ultrasound pics on it.
