How was your induction experience?
I'm due Sept 18 & I have a strong feeling that my son won't arrive on his own. My doc said I have to schedule an induction date a few days or a week after my DD. So far, all induction stories I've read on here & have heard from friends don't seem too bad. Although, I have 1 friend who is scaring me to death saying that her sis-in-law went in for an induction & she was in labor for 2 days! Wtf!? Can you ladies please be honest with me? Is it really that bad? I accept all honest opinions, but personally I can't stand the way my friend just straight up tells me "DON'T GET AN INDUCTION!" when she hasn't even experienced it, but ONE person she knew has. I'm terrified now. :-(

Bump!
@caiti5 That makes so much sense! Ty for the advice! That makes a lot of sense. I think I will set my induction date exactly a week from my due date then :-) Hopefully I'll be waaay more dilated by then!
@preggointx Yikes, were you dilated at all?
@Caiti5 Have u tried the primrose pills? I feel weird thinking of putting those inside me lol. Do they hurt? I feel like I'd rather force myself to walk a lot or do squats lol.
@soontohavethree How much are the primrose pills? And where do u get them? Are they huge? I have a fear of taking huge pills lol. It takes me a couple gulps of water just to down my prenatal pills haha. I use the One A Day ones where u take 2 diff pills a day. I'm hoping to just have them break my water too w/o Pitocin, but I'll have to dilate on my own first -_- I'm 39wks on Sunday & only 0.5cm grr.
@pnsw524 Yikes! I'm sorry u had a bad experience. How far along were u when u got it done?
@erkieshavingagirl How much dilated were u when u got an induction? I agree, the more your body progresses on its own, the quicker & easier it is when u do get induced.
