I did, we nursed to sleep it was easy and for over a year. I had no issues with transitioning to another bed. I plan on doing the same when this babys born
My son is a week n he sleeps with me but everyone bitches cus they say I'm risking his life. I git a c section n its hard getting out of bed n when I put him in his crib he wakes up every 30 mins
My son sleeps with me. Whenever he got three months I put him in his bed, he did good. Then he got sick so he came back in the bed so I could watch him carefully. He's almost six months now and I need to try to put him back in his crib. I just enjoy cuddling. Lol
My sons 8 weeks and starts out in his crib but ends up in bed with me after his 3 am feeding. I figure once he's sleeping threw the night he won't end up in my bed.
My son is almost 3 weeks and he sleeps with me sometimes...the nights he's awake and doesn't want to sleep, as soon as I snuggle up with him in my arms he's fast asleep and STAYS asleep!
I did when my daughter was a newborn when I would fall aslepe burping/feeding her. And a couple other times when she went hrough growth spurts and wouldn't sleep unless being held. She's 3 months now and sleeps in her bassinet but she also sleeps through the night so I don't have to worry about waking during the middle of the night and falling asleep with her. I believe in co sleeping but I would do it all the time. My sister did and had a really hard time getting her son to stay and sleep in his bed
My daughter slept with me from birth until about a couple months ago. She will be four in January. I don't plan on co-sleeping with this one only because I just got my daughter into her own bed and I don't want two kids sleeping with me.
My daughter won't sleep well in her bassinet, which is right by my bed...so she's been sleeping with me. She sleeps better and longer which means I get more sleep. I'm concerned though because I want her to transitions to her crib in her room when she sleeps through the night. I feel bad because my husband sleeps on the sofa because he's scared of rolling on her. I also get a lot of bs from my mom about spoiling her.
I didnt want to because my fiance moves alot in his sleep. Lol I have lately. My son rolls in his sleep and he would get a limb stuck through the slats and wake up crying . His ped said to havee him sleep in his swing but he wakes up and doesnt sleep good in it anymore, so hes been sleeping with us.
I have a 21mnth old who slept wit us (me&daddy) since she was a newborn... its hard to get her out of my bed now.. lol so she falls asleep n bed wit me n thn we put her on her bed n the girls rm thn she ends up bck withn 3hrs... my 8wk old sleeps n her crib, but I have her crib n our room nxt to our bed so wen she wakes up for feeding I sometimes fall asleep holding her... she's so comfy and sleeps so peacefully I rather not interrupt... lol its funny cuz it came to a point we're hubby wakes up on the couch! My daughter sleeps in her bassinet right next to my bed but when she wakes up in the morning I like to put her in bed with me & snuggle her and go back to sleep :X
@ta2edblondie - I do as well I've gotten to where I can't really sleep without him in my arms. Has any one else noticed their baby sleeps quieter when in bed with them. My son makes tons if noises in his sleep unless he's in my arms he's quiet as a mouse.
@ginaa412 My Son Is Almost 2 Weeks & Sleeps With Me Too. I Also Had A Csection & It Does Hurt To Get Up. & I Know How You Feel. Wen He Sleeps In His Basinett, He Always Wakes Up Every Hour , So That's Why He Sleeps With Me.
i want him to sleep with us (me and daddy) he slept with us 2 times once and he slept good and when he's in his cradle he gets all fussy or it takes me while to get him to fall back asleep which means i get less sleep but i hear all these bad things about sleeping with them so i get scared and just not sleep :[ babys only 6 days old by the way haha
My daughter sleeps with me shes 4weeks old anf has been in bed with me for almost 2weeks. She sleeps in her crib during the day or at night if I want bf gf time lol

Malia is 4wks and sleeps on her "bed" (just a folded blanket) in between dadddy & I. She sleeps better and longer on our bed than the pack n play bassinet 2 ft away. She even sleeps under our cover with us. Plus makes it easier to change diapers and feed her the boob

I wont put my baby girl in my bed, the thought terrifies me. My niece passed away due to co sleeping so I have a valid reason. Everyone has their own beliefs and thats just mine :-)
My daughter slept on my chest for a month. I had a c-section so I was sleeping on the couch (couldnt roll) and she was a belly sleeper. So she slept on my chest on her belly. I was a ftm and had this wierd ppd where I had to be touching her all the time. After that month she slept in the top part of the pack n play, starting on back but would flip herself over to belly... The pnp was right up against my bed and I slept with my face pushed into the mesh so I could see/hear her...
i did lol my son is almost 2 and he still sleeps with me sometimes not everynight unless he is sick or if he wakes up in the middle of the night.. i didnt really have ne problems getting him to sleep in his own bed either but he does still sleep in my room. im one of those crazy moms that needs him to b with me so i know he is ok breathing and safe lol o well it works for us :] im just intrested to see how throwing a newborn into this mix will be im sure we will work it out! good luck mama i really enjoy having him sleep with me.
