Depends why u had c section first? I tried vbac my second and had same problems with first so was forced into emergancy csection again... This time going straight for csection.
I had a scheduled c-sec with my second, and now with my third they told me I'm not allowed to try vbac. I was really disappointed. If you, at any point, would like to try vaginal birth again, this is your shot. My scheduled c-sec hurt like hell (the spinal block made me want to scream) and it was incredibly anticlimactic; I left it a bit disappointed, though it was smooth and my baby was healthy. It was very convenient, and the baby didn't have a squashed head, and I wasn't scared leading up to it because I knew what to expect from delivery and recovery. There were definite good and bad points. I don't know if that helped or made it more confusing.
I am scared to try a vbac due to chances of uterine rupture. Repeat csection is the way I am going. Will be nice to know when I will have the baby so we can plan. My husbands leave from work and for someone to care for our other 3 kids while in the hospital.
Am I the only woman who would love to avoid a vag birth at all costs if possible? This is my first so I will prob have to have a vag delivery but I really don't want it, it scars the hell out of me. Is there a stigma around c sections? It's like your not a woman unless you squat down in a field
@lynn25 Yes there's a chance of uterine rupture where the previous csection scar is.mine is an even higher chance with 2 previous csections. I don't know what the chance is it might be small but I don't wanna chance it.look it up online for more info so you make a well informed decision. I'm sure most people are fine after a vbac.I wanted a vbac for my last one till my doc explained the risks to me.
