So confused... Please help!!!!!!!

Today I went to the clinic for a pt... It was neg. The nurse said because my last period was 01/27/11, n I had sex with my bf on the first of feb that it wouldnt show up. I have gotten my period for feb. But I have like light period cramp but no sign of it. Im so confused. Im so not sure if I am or not.... N then she gave me this pills n said it would stop a pregnancy b4 it start so idk if I should take the pill or not becuz if I takw this pill n im afraid that the baby will have birth defects. Im in need of serious help. Please!!!!!

    The pill is next choice, its a emergency cotraceptive... Well if I am pregnany I dont want to kill my baby u kno. Its just for the couple of days iv been having sore boobs n being sleep n sensitive to smell little pain here n there. I just dont want to be pregnant n do something that will cuz harm to the baby or me

    @ashley10... sounds like they gave u plan B... the pill that stops prego within 3 days... u got a lot to figure out fast... if u want the baby or not? I was confused though and wasn't sure if it was a typo... did u say u had your period or not?

    Plan b is supposed to stop pregnancy from happening. If ur already pregnant its not made to abort the baby so u should be fine

    @dawnwaarsbaby no I havent got my period since jan. @coolbabybeans thats thing idk if I am. She kinda confused me wen I told my situation. She it wouldnt show if I was pregnant. So idk if she meant I am pregnant n I have to wait to test or im just not

    Sounds more like thee abortion pill.. not plan b seein as u had sex 30 days ago they wouldn't give you that.. but stopping a pregnancy before it starts sound like the abortion pill.. to jus make you have a misscarriage if you are but if you aren't it'll just be a period.. but if you are planning on keepin the baby If you are I suggest you don't take that..

    Ya the plan b is only within 3 days. That is an abortion pill. If you are this far along you have a small fetus in there. You are about 5 weeks along. So think long and hard about taking that pill. I happen to know if its the same my friend took there are side effects. And there are always alternatives. Don't let fear guide your decitions.

    That pill will not do anything @ all to an existing pregnancy. I took one on Jan 18th & on Feb 3rd I found out I was 5 wks pregnant. If u do not want to get pregnant, take it, cuz if ur not pregnant already, it will stop it from happening. But if there is a chance of pregnancy happening and u WANT to be pregnant, don't take it so u can have a chance of conceiving.

    Plan B is definitely not the abortion pill. It jus makes ur body unfavorable for pregnancy BEFORE it even happens. If ur already pregnant, u will stay pregnant and if u miscarry it has nothin to do with the Pill.

    @kmose77 I dont plan on takioc86n the pill cuz there maybe a chance that I am n I dont want to harm,myself or the baby. I just dont understand y the nurse would giv ed it to me...@oc86 I never intend to take the pill cuz even if I am n it was unplanned I would never punish the baby... I just confused about the nurse n her give me the pill n her tellin me that if I am that it would show up, my pregnancy app said I 4weeks n 6days.

    Well good luck to you. I don't know what the nurse was thinking,. I know a lot of the time if they think its unwanted they will just give it to you and not have to deal with you anymore. I could be wrong though, It could just be to force your body to start your period. Which could cause you to miss cary if you are. Sounds like your a strong person with a head on your shoulders though. They are not supposed to give you an abortion pill without some sort of consultation. But I believe if its early and your over 18 its minimal at best. Good luck to you. I hope everything works out great :P I can tell you one thing if you are, you will never be the same. You will love and be loved more then you ever could imajon.. :) Babys are the most amazing blessing in the world, planned or not.

    In the beginning if the pregnancy, your hcg levels are always lower, but as the pregnancy progresses they get higher.....i was 8 weeks and it didnt show up on the urine test (a very faint positive). Best bet is to talk to a nurse at your pcp's office; make sure you ask them to do a urine and a blood test for the pregnancy. The blood test is the only real way of knowing the status of your pregnancy early on. Different women have different levels of hcg after they concieve, which makes it difficult for some to get an accurate early reading. I wouldn't take the pills (i feel the same way- don't punish the baby for something s/he didn't have anything to do with a.k.a. being created). Congrats in advance if you are prego, mama!!! ;)

    @izander4 thank u. I was thinkin about scheduling a doc app. For a blood test. I kno my body I how I feel wen I gettin af. Even tho its similar feeling I kno it not af. Yea if I dont plan to harm the baby. No matter wat it was a decisions I made n now a life was created n honestly I havent this happy in years. So thank u for u advice n kind words that is something I need rite now.

    Well I started with tender boobs n the smell of certain things gave me a headache. I was always sleepy n didn't thnk I was preg cuz my only kid is 12 n I hadn't been able to conceive again. U seem to have the same symptoms as me so I thnk u might be. Get a second opinion before takin n e thng. Hope every thing works out for you!

    I still don't understand, if your last period was january 27th and you had unprotected sex before your next period was expected, then you would be pregnant or not pregnant at this point. I've heard of cases where the test wasn't positive for a few weeks after a missed period but receiving a pill that no one explained thoroughly to you sounds weird to me. I hope you get some answers soon. You can call your clinic about your questions without an appointment.

    @brill yea I have it all plus the miss period. @misspregger6989 Im confused about that to, I did hear that some women dont find out til there second trimester.. So I goin to get my prenatals n make sure I still healthy just to make sure if I am then the baby will be healthy

    I had them confused... plan B and the abortion pill... Its definitely a good idea to take your prenatals to get your body ready... even if your not prego... the folic acid helps out a lot... Goodluck!

    ur welcome @Ashley10 trust me, i was kind of confused in the beginning, and i had no one to help me make my decision....i had no support for that, and i wouldn't wish that upon anyone else in this world-it's too painful. glad i could help :)
