DROPPING aT 30 WEEKS??

edited October 2011 in Third Trimester
Anyone started dropping at 30 weeks? I went in for my regular 2 wk checkup and doc checked me due to lately having a lot of pressure and pelvic pain and he said baby's heads in position and has started to drop a bit not a whole lot but he has started . I also measured almost more like 31 weeks

What do you guys suggest on that should worry on preparing for baby before 40 weeks or no? Whoever went through something similiar let me know ur outcome. Thanks :)

  • I measured 3 weeks ahead, buut u/s said 1 week ahead. My friend dropped very early and went past due. Everyone is different.
  • I dropped at 30 weeks. I'm 37 now. I wouldn't worry bout baby coming early its just painful and sucks.
  • I wouldnt worry. I've been carrying extremely low my whole pregnancy so I probably won't even drop at all.
  • I also dropped at 30 weeks.. I'm now 35 weeks and my belly is still getting bigger and lower.

Thanks ladies helps to have a few people a couple weeks ahead of me lol ;)

Ahh more peace of mine I'm so not quite ready for him to arrive too soon lol

Also todays blood pressure was a little high not alot I'm not sure what symptoms are for high blood pressure cus I've never had it but lately I'll feel like a pressure down then at the same time heart beats a lil quicker and I feel sort of a shortness of breath it'll come and go quick and frequent headaches
  • I dropped at 30 too, 35 tomorrow. Looks like baby will be a bit early but not necessarily.
  • So everyone after dropping @30 wks did baby just continue to drop? Or did it make any difference in ur progress as far as making u dilate or dropping way more by the time you went in 2 weeks later?

  • I'm busy busy everyday almost all day I'm just one of those people if not working I'm always trying to keep busy with watever so I'm up and about all the time lol wonder if that will affect anything doc told me to rest but its kinda hard haha :)
  • I dropped at 25w. He came back up eventually. It's happened a few times since then. I'm 32w this week but he doesn't seem like he's going anywhere any time soon. I'm sure you're okay. I read up on it a lot cus it freaked me out and it's actually really normal.
  • I've been carrying low too entire pregnancy Im 33 weeks
  • Idk if its helped dilate but he is in position and at my 36 week I was dilated to 1. Also I has high bp a few times prolly stress related or something. My Dr wanted to keep an eye on it but it was nothing major. With Pre e you will get swelling and dizzy and Idk what other symptoms but you can look it up to ease your mind.
  • I git high blood pressure in the very end and protein in my urine. I had pre eclampsia. Id talk to your dr asap.. If your getting headaches, seeing spots, vision blurred, excessive swelling. It wont hurt to talk to it with your dr.
  • I dropped at 29wks. I have 7days left until i have my baby.
  • I dropped at 30 weeks and currently 34+3
  • Did anyone get like a little tiny gush liquid sorry for tmi but I went to pee and after I finished I sat on the tiolet a bit and a small gush of liquid came out it was weird cus it seemed almost as if it came from some where else really weird lol
  • @sammy21 your bladder constantly refills itself. It could have just been that there was more in there. However, that might not have been the case and you should watch it and make sure. If you feel uneasy, call your Dr's office and see if they think you should go in and test it.
  • @bigtalkingtori. Well I've been having more BH lately and some menstrual like cramping that will come and go every 2 mins they last like 30 sec. They only last an hr a day and I've also had loose stool and big headaches all the time its all been within one week

I've done some research and it seems like everyone with all these symptoms started to experience them @ around 35-36 weeks

    I'm super confused lol

@sammy21 Hmm... did you go in at all? It does sound a tiny bit on the normal side, but you can never be sure unless you get checked.

I've had really bad BH for the last 24 hours. I think it's from dehydration, though.
