@sheilamae804...yes I have heard you don't get a period when you breastfeed but you can get pregnant, I know a few people who have.

I went 22 months without mine, my kid had feeding issues so we breastfed until then. It is the best benefit of breastfeeding in my opinion, I never got it back until after weaning
