Should I put it behind the passenger seat or driver seat?

I put ours in the center, that way if I were to get hit in the side he's as far from the sides as possible.

I never thought about the center. Lol. Can it be installed properly in the center. Im gona have a hard time in my little 2 door car but whatevers safest is fine with me.

The center will work just as good as the sides.

If the car has to much of a hump in the middle I don't know if it will make it not work.

Take the seat and the car to your local fire department. They will install it correctly for you.

@ashleyfew wow thats crazy! I pretty much know how to install them anyway. I just didnt know the center was considered "safe".

Install it and go to the local police station they can check them but not install. Babies r us and hospitals check them as well.

Mine cannot go in the center. No center seat, no center seat belt. I was told behind driver is safer in that situation.
