UPDATE: Baby born @36weeks! Been @Labor and Delivery since 2pm yesterday!

I went to my scheduled doctors appt yesterday, my BP was high and I had a massive headache. I was 2cm dilated when they checked me, the doc was surprised bc last Friday I was closed and thought that me dilating so fast was a sign of pre eclampsia. Well they ended up keeping me and are inducing me!
I thought they would let me rest and start me on something this morning....WRONG!
They started me on the magnesium and pitocen last night. They checked me in she middle of the night and I was a 3. I was able to sleep through my contractions, and they gave me my epidural and I slept like a baby. The only thing that has sucked is having to be on my side, to make sure BP stays down.
Well....right now I am here waiting for doc to break my water. Hopefully I have dilated more and we can get this show on the road! Please pray and send labor dust I am 36 weeks and just want her to be ok!

    Oh me, you have a lot going on. I hope your little one comes soon as healthy as can be. Try some ice chips.. it doesn't make the hunger any better but does help a little. Good luck!!

    I had the exact same thing happen to me when I was 36 weeks with my first. She came out just fine, we went home the day after. Hope everything is going great!! :-) keep us posted!!

    They broke my water and of course my epidural is wearing off so I am feeling these.

    She is here! 6lb 5oz 20 3/4! No name so don't ask, lol

    3 pushes and was out, no tears and I felt her coming down, and felt her crown.....she is absoutly amazing!

    She is absolutely perfect....to say she is only 36 weeks she is doing wonderful. I am still in shock that I had a baby, today was suppose to be my baby shower. @roxy I could feel the pain and pressure but it went so fast it wasn't bad at all After they broke my water at @849, I went from 3-6 in an hour. They checked me again an hr later bc I was complaing
    About the pressure ( which is the key word! If you mention pressure or the feeling of needing to push or poop....they will check u every time) they checked me again, and she told me to push w/ the next contraction bc I still had a little cervix left......and than she said its time to push! I pushed 3 times......and the doc massaged my vagina as her head came out....from my

    It cut off my message.....from my water breaking till the time she came out it was 3hrs 20 mins.
