Has anyone had this done and baby stayed flipped head down I have to see a doc about it they told me that or c section I know about c sections but not versions
I am having one tomorrow they should not induce u afterward. My doctor said it doesn't make sense to induce afterwards bcause ur cervix is not ready u will still end up with a c-section .
Tried this morning, it did not work for me but my doctor said his last 4 were successful. I figured it was just time for one not to go right for him. He was not able to get the butt out of my pelvic area to get him to flip almost had it a few time. I am scheduling a c-section for next week. I would recommend at least trying if you don't want to have a surgery. It was not all that painful it's was not very uncomfortable. If you have a very low pain tolerance you may have a problem, but all in all if it works much better than recovery from a surgery.
ok thank you ive seen the videos but on youtube they dont answer back lol and i figured some one here would know ill prob have mine done not next week but the week after how many weeks are you??\
It has like a 50/50 shot of working. I guess its more effective if you've already been through a pregnancy b/c you uterus is more pliable or whatever. I had one done at 37wks it was unsuccessful and painful for me. I have a post about the whole thing I ended up with a c/s. Ill bump my post for you.
thankies im wraping my head around the c section more and more its just the recovery that im scared of im a sissy with pain and my hubbie is only taking a week off so ill need alot of help i remember when my sister had one i was helping her for weeks
Im Sorry if this is ignorant, but cant a breech baby still be delivered vaginally, as long as its not transverse or footling. Isn't it just a lot harder?
It can but here in the us I guess they rather do a c section. I think its more work for them to deliver vaginaly than c section I've seen videos on YouTube of breach births it actually looks less painfull than head down births. @314babymama1120
Oh. Have you asked your Dr if u can try to deliver vaginally? I mean really if its Just BC its harder for them then that is extremely lame that they wont let You even try. Also I know Dr's make more for a c section then a vaginal. I was having some insurance issues and inquired about the Dr fee for birth and was told my Dr charges 900 for vaginal birth and 1200 for c section! Ridiculous!
My doctor told me there are candidates for breech vaginal delivery. But the head can get stuck because it is not coming out first. Mostly they do it if there r multiples and the second is breech. As far as external version goes I really think it has a lot to do your pain tolerance. I usually won't let pain stop me from doing much. Like u my sister has had a c-section and I seen how much pain she was in. Have u been doing any pelvic exercises to try and get ur baby to turn.
I've been trying lol I'm going swimming soon cause I read that that helps them plus it takes off pressure. I'm not wanting a c section cause my sister did too and she was 17 at the time so I know if she can I can I just am a sissy w pain and I'm a lot heaver than her
