I've been trying to figure out if I wanted to breastfeed or bottle feed. (He wasn't getting anything from me in the hospital and lost a lot of weight so i had to switch to bottle.) Well my milk came in last night n tonight an hour after feeding my lil man 2.5 oz of formula he started getting fussy n kept trying to suck at my cleavage. I figured ... what the hell, lemme try again... he latched right away and I /know/ he was eating good cause when he pulled away he had a mouth full. He is still going to get formula on occasion, when daddy is feeding him or we're out... but other then that... he is going to be a boob baby! I'm also hoping it helps with his jaundice. Wish me luck guys!

    Sounds like my bby. She will NOT take a bottle at all. Only my boobs! She is definently a boob baby.

    Thats awesome! You know that you can always pump to have a few bottles for daddy to feed! No need to use formula if you dont have to!

    I do have a question tho... I've been wearing a sports bra since I decided to bottle feed at the hospital. Should I wear a different bra? I don't own a nursing bra and have no money to buy one... I do have bras other then sports bras tho

    @ashley _smashley I don't have a pump n I'm pretty sure my mil wouldn't let me store breast milk anyway

    Wear a regular bra just make sure its not too tight and avoid underwires-- these both can cause clogged ducts. Good luck!

    dang that sucks girl! well if she does decide to let you, I hear the hand pumps are waaay cheap and work pretty well!

    Oh thats soooo good!!! I couldn't bf my son but have been really stressful second time around and I love it... Its also soooo convenient lol

    My daughter only wants boobs lol when anyone holds her while she's awake she will go after their boobs lol :D she went after grandpas, grandmas & her dads :D it takes them awhile to get the hang of latching, it took jocelynn a week before she got successful with it. :) but I was lucky and it only took me two days before my milk came flooding lol. It still floods her and I both! Lol

    Lol my son did the same thing. :) it will help with jaundice also I bought a hand pump from walmart $30 I love it. They had one for $19 as well. I have an electric one I hate I would suggest the manual.

    I only use the baggies for freezer storage bc they can get pricey. If you just want to pump enough so daddy can feed then I would just store in bottles in the fridge.

    They sell the nurcing sleeping bra at babys r us for 20 bucks worth every penny

    walmart also has nursing bras mine was $12 or $15. it didn't fit me well but suited just fine til i found the ones i have now at jcpenney.
