My baby cant poop AGAIN!

Wtf is going on?! I just had this problem with her about 2 weeks ago! She is straining do hard to poop & it hurts her so bad but nothinh comes out. She just cries! Should this be happening so often? Idk what to do for her! I know bf babies dont poop as much but my baby is TRYING her hardest to get it out!

If she is formula feed the iron in formula can constipate them. I hope you figure it out.

Have u tried giving water? Georgia had 2oz of water last night and she's popped 4 times today and is much happier

@dra765 I know they dont have too everyday if shes bf but she is trying to tho. If shes trying then shouldnt she be able 2 even tho shes bf? She has to go..she just cant.

Try giving her a little bit of sugar in her water so that she will drink it. Sometimes i mix my sons water with gerber apple juice that definatly does the trick!

Yea or pure Orange juice 1oz to 3oz water. Ur baby would like that surely? 1oz of water should help, first time my baby just had half an oz within the hour she pooped

My son is formula fed now but Dr told me one teaspoon of pure prune juice mix with every 4 oz bottle he drinks. If u pump and bottle feed at all may work

I give my son an oz of water mixed with an oz of gerber's prune apple juice also u can put a teaspoon of dark karo syrup in the bottle (it really works)

I would take her docs because its so rare for a breastfed baby to get constipated and try lifting her knees right into her stomach or sit her on your knee without a nappy and leave a gap between your legs so gravity can help. Hope she gets better
