So my daughter will be 4 months on December 4 n I have been breastfeeding from the beginning but I want to start working n my lil butthead daughter won't take a bottle at all... has anyone else had this problem or having this problem? What has helped I have tried everything different bottles different temperatures of the breast milk other people trying to feed her! Absolutely nothing has worked please help any advice!!

I would just keep trying to give it to her at the same time every day...maybe that might work

I had that problem. Have someone else feed him. If he is hungry he will eat. Thats what my doc said. She said shes hungry not starving. I went shopping for 2 hours can when I came back home she drank 5 oz from my husband

@mimii36 yes I have tried those @2ndbaby11611 I have tried those too @proudmommy8789 someone else has tried I left for two hours to see a movie n she cried the whole time I was gone wouldn't eat at all

I would just keep trying all the different bottles I could find. Try nuks if you havent. The nipple is different. Just be persistent with her. She wont starve herself.

@mimii36 I have tried nuks I have tried every brand that Walmart carries she won't take any kind she has starved herself n I try everyday! I dnt have money to keep buying bottles... it sucks!

Youre welcome. I really hope that they help! My lo finally takes a bottle but it comes out too fast for her so half of it comes out her mouth while shes drinking. I have to put a bib on her & it gets really wet. I feed her breastmilk so its soo frustrating that half of it gets wasted. So I understand your bottle frustrations in a way.

When my son was born he wouldnt latch so they gave me sugar water brand by enfamil & they would put drops on my nipple. Worked like a charm! Try.something like that! Goodluck!

Im having that problem too, he actually gags if I try too much and gets so hysterical that he chokes so iv had to leave it for abit so got no useful info sorry

@mimii36 do you use the slow flow nipples? I know the playtex drop ins we use come with different flow of nipples.

@britt21 yes I bought the bottles that come with the slow nipples but its still too fast for her. Someone told me that the brown nipples are a bit slower than the clear ones but I havent tryed it out yet. I use the playtex dropins also.

Hmm ok, I was trying to help lol...I haven't tried the brown ones either, just the clear. Hopefully that'll make a difference for you.

@britt21 thanks..after she gets the nipple to kind of "collapse" together it doesnt come out her mouth but in the beginning it comes out alot! Hopefully the brown ones will work better.
