C-Section Dec 30th

I'm having a scheduled c section Dec 30th. This is my second child. My daughter was an emergency c section so I don't know what to expect since this time ill have a spinal block and not an epidural. Any body know bout spinal block's?

I just had my third in October. I was ok after all three no migraines or anything but it might depend on you some people take them differently. More pressure then pain when they put it in. Honestly I think getting the IV put in was worse It took them three times before they could get one to stay. It is pretty simple and it was in within minutes. Before you realize it you are laying down and the baby is out

My so called "emergency" c section was horrible too. I went on and had my baby at home in a pool

I had migraines and all the meds after made me itch with my section

I was awake for the first c section. In more worried about the spinal block

Oh yikes!! I've never has a c-section, but they sound so horrible...I'd be scared shitless :-/

I found the spinal very painful but I have a very very low pain threshold lol, but after that its fine except you can get itchy which I did on my face

I'll have my forth c-section January 27. I never had a bad reaction to the spinal block and I was able to be up walking around a few hours later. I loved my c-sections and had a fairly pain free recovery. Nothing to be afraid of, it's pretty quick.
