League city / clear lake tx. Best schools in state. And 30 min from galveston beach and kenah boardwalk. Nice towns too. Plus the houston space center is in clear lake, I lived down the road from it. Oh and plenttty of jobs. Close to houston too.
Yes ma'am. Oh and, lots of shopping. Mall less than 20 min too. Established neighborhoods, and tons of nice gated or ungated appts. I lived in The Palms on Gemini Ave.. zip 77058. A few years ago.
@rockinmomma my brother lives in denver and it's gorgeous, but when it snows...IT SNOWS! Lol I'm a southern born girl(raised all over bc dad in army) so I can't deal with yalls winter.
But I must say charleston is the best place I have ever lived! Jacksonville,fl is super nice too!
Beaumont, ca. Or nearby. Good schools and very little crime. Housing is fair priced. A lot of people move around here to retire, and families move here for kids because its an "all-around" area. Everyone around here calls it the perfect town, because on average, we are (give or take) 2 hours from: The beach The river the mountains /snow/ Big Bear The desert /Lake Havasu Los Angeles/Hollywood /Universal Studios Palm Springs San Diego/Sea World/Six Flags Orange County/Disneyland/Knotts Berry Farm and about 4 hours to Las Vegas.
tv shows are based on my area (Laguna Beach anyone?) I've lived here my whole life and been to each place listed above at least twice. I have a year pass to disneyland, I'm actually sick of the place! Lol. My mom is a scuba instructor so I get a fair share of beach too. I wont move for anything, it really is the perfect area. The real estate is good, a lot of people buy and flip houses and make money off it.
