You ovulated on the 23rd.. You took a test on the 28th.. 5dpo. And you got a BFP? What kind of test did you use? Maybe you are pregnant from an earlier cycle? It's either that or your ovulation date is wrong because there is no physical way to have a positive urine pregnancy test at 5dpo. I would go to the doctor and request an ultrasound to see if you are pregnant or not.. Your hormone levels aren't elevated enough that early. Did you talk to him about having a baby before you started trying? You said you had to wait until Jan 5th to test, that was the day your period is supposed to come?
@fate@chelles the thing that throws me off is...why mention you're 18? What relevance does that have to any of this? Perhaps I'm wrong, but I smell something fishy...or muddy... Hmmm.

Ya well my doc told me it's a mirical baby im not suppose to be able to get pregnant but I am... Well know for sure tuesday. And the dad is mad cuz I didnt tell him sooner.... I dont blame him... And it very well could be a false positive. Lets hope not....
There is such a thing as a false positive. It can happen after a mc or sometimes a woman will believe so deeply that she is pregnant that she will create small traces of pregnancy hormone which will create a false positive as explained to me by my doctor.
I have had a false positive before. It can physically happen… @fate you have all the questions that's for sure lol.... my question is at 18 why aren't you worried about going to college? If I were you I'd be worried about that. Thats just me tho. Had I not had a huge major accident in my life I would of been in college at 18. I've also had a period while pregnant as well. So who knows just seems odd with everything is all. How would you have known sooner to tell your bf if you needed to wait until the 5th the soonest. You have had to of known more then what your letting on.
My friend was 100% convinced she was pregnant, she said she was getting ALL the physical symptoms. I tried to tell her not to get her hopes up, that if a woman wants, or believes SO HARD that she is pregnant, she can trick her body. She got SO mad at me saying I was trying to accuse her of being a liar *rollseyes* completely took it out of context... She wasn't pregnant, and ate her words. But that is a REAL thing. Best of luck
A miracle baby..? Why..? I am telling you, hun. There's NO WAY you can get a BFP 5dpo (dpo=days post ovulation). I'm not trying to be funny or mean, but when were you supposed to tell him? Like, soon as the sperm reached your fallopian tube? There is such thing as a false positive... But only if you started menopause, or having a phantom pregnancy. Get an ultrasound.
How will you know for sure Tuesday when you said on another post from another thread that you got blood work? Wouldn't the blood work have said positive by now?
Though I did learn in medical school that it takes atleast 6-7 days past ovulation to show up in blood work. Since most womens bodies carry low amounts of hcg already they can't actually tell until that point if they are at a decent level or not.
But how were u suppose to tell him earlier if you tested as early as 5dpo? Thats what I dont understand. Theres noo way you could have know before then! Does he know anything about pregnancy or does he just think it happens immediately after sex? @halijoe
You don't have to be pregnant to kick it with Pregly. We are all family here and try to help everyone. Even on your blood work available on Tuesday, your chances of having positive blood work is literally 0.1%. Get new blood work today. Or take a HPT today. Those will be more accurate. If you take a HPT, post a picture and we will help you determine if it's positive. If you buy a digital one, it will give you a literal "yes" or "no" answer. You are 9dpo as of today, pregnancy hormones can be picked up sometimes at 9dpo. I personally would wait until you miss your period.
