I've only been on the pill for a few months over 7 years ago. So I don't know much. I've read tons but i want to hear some stories

I'm planning on getting mirena or the copper iud (my mind is drawing a blank on the name). Hubby and I don't want anymore kids but we don't want my tubes tied or a visectomy for him.
I'm really worried about iud's what do you ladies think?

I'm worried that something like that will happen if I get mirena

I have a high hormone level so I have to use low dose BC. Maybe the copper iud will be the way to go.
Grr... I'm scared it will fuse to my uterus

I have taken Seasonale (period every 3 months) pill for the last 8 years with two breaks the get pregnant and I plan on going on it again after this baby is born.....never had any problems so I'm just going to stick with what I know works well for me.

I'm on my 2nd mirena after having one for 5 years then getting preg but had a missed miscarriage so I had a d&c and conceived again 5 months later. Just delivered my 9 lb 10 oz baby boy (Carter) in Aug. Got my new mirena put in in Sept and haven't had a period or problem since. Its kinda achy sometimes but nothing bad. I love it"!

I had the paraguard (copper iud) and when I would get my period is have despair so bad I couldn't get out of bed. I NEVER had cramps before I got it. I also had clotting.
Oh & after having it for 8 mths I found out I was pregnant.. then had to worry about a mc because of it. I now have a sweet 2wi old boy lol

I have mirena. Got it 7 months ago. Only prob I've noticed is really bad acne. Doc said its not related but I have read tons online about other women have same prob w acne. BC pills helped keep my acne under control. Mirena has made it 10 times worse! Otherwise I love it!

I got that shot that you get every 3 months and dont have a period at all, the first one or 2 times you get it you could bleed for a while, but i havent had any side affects yet
