I breastfeed, so I don't have to worry about that! I get big boxes of wipes from Sam's Club ( 900 wipes for 15 dollars) I have so many boxes of diapers its ridiculous( from Baby Shower) . and if there too big/small i can always exchange them, And I Love shopping at Carters for Him! i go there every 2-3 weeks
30.00 for 2 boxes of Luvs diapers... 20.00 for 1 box of Kirkland wipes... (I used wipes for everything...) About 150.00-175.00 for Similac Sensitive formula 30.00 for baby food... 50.00 misc (spoons, bath stuff, toys, clothes, storage containers, batteries, etc.)
Then you add my 4 year old and it gets even more expensive... Lol.
About 140 on formula she is spit up kind 45 for diapers (pampers big box) Haven't bought wipes in about 2 months, I buy them at babies r us when they are 2 regular for 12 bucks Same with her baby good just stocked up while they were 14 for 15 dollars
Shampoo and stuff I still have from my baby shower.
@LilSugarsMomma yeah having to send your child to daycare always is a expensive thing. I wouldn't [-X ever bring my child to daycare unless it was my VERY VERY VERY last option. :-D
@aishamusa It is my VERY VERY VERY last option. I'm a single mother with 2 kids and I don't have the luxury of food stamps or WIC, so I have to work to survive.
Oh I've been wanting to figure this out! Let's see, Ellie Mae is 12 weeks old & form!ula fed. $375 health insurance $400 daycare will cost, she starts soon, so sad! $120 formula $70 diapers & wipes $100-200 is probably what I spend on miscellaneous stuff, clothes, accessories, toys, stuff that is not necessary but so much fun to buy! She was pretty well set for clothes from baby showers & hand me downs, but they're so fun to shop for!
@afwifealderete1017 well yeah, but only because of health insurance & daycare, boo! Other than that it's not bad! That's AWESOME that you won't need daycare! Cherish every minute with your baby! It's breaking my heart to have to go back to work soon! Breastfeeding is definitely the best, and cheapest way to go! It didn't go well for us at all! I wish you the best!
@lilbit_209 yeah, I think it's pretty good! Daycare is so different everywhere! Where do you live? I'm in Minnesota, but that's also for 4 days a week instead of 5
@baileygoose San Antonio. We 'could' pay less at other places but this daycare is awesome. They really made a difference in our older child when she had some issues. She was in another place that was horrible (after the fact info) thats much cheaper but they had major issues!!
@aishamusha Yeah. Sorry, I messed that up. I get paid bi-weekly and my gross income is $1060. WICs limitations are $1047 bi-weekly. So, I overqualify by a whole $13. But that's okay, so far, so good. If they can help those that truly need it, I would rather they help them than help me. I'm not really struggling so I think its a good thing.
My son's almost 5 months old and I spend about $15 a month which is for formula since he goes a little over the wic amount. My baby shower in September and Christmas has stocked me up for probably another 4-5 months. I've been extremely lucky. (:
