So there is an article about a little 13 yr old boy was set on fire on his own porch and the kids said to him this what you deserve white boy. It happened in kansas city. Has anyone heard about it?
Did you hear about the shootout between gang bangers, that resulted in an infant being shot and killed?? I bet not, cuz it wasn't racist either! People.are killed every damn day, so why is my TV flooded with this story?? Yes, it's sad and it's a shame that a child was killed, but putting a bounty out for this guys blood is completely uncalled for...hypocrite much??
@LilSugarsMomma yep. Im not racist by any means, but this is being turned into a race thing. In the case of the 13 yr old it was absolutely a hate crime, but its not all over the news, theres no rally for him. It makes no sense. Now theres a a shirt out w zimmermans face on it calling him a cracker. Hypocrisy ...
I don't hear any community raising up to "combat" this guys racism. Like I said, it seems to be that it's racist when it's convenient for you. You have every race coming out in the trayvon martin kiling to protest...but where are the same people in this "white boy" killing. Hypocrisy. Also, where are the same people that express moral outrage on mine and the other Martin post? They are a litttllee quiet on this one.
like I said on the other post everyone deserves justice. it doesn't matter what race you are. And whoever killed that little boy should be put in jail.
I find it funny that most of the people yelling about how ppl are making this a race thing...are the main ones actually making it about race. YES a lot of people are throwing around the race card but that shouldn't make the story less important or mean justice shouldn't be served. Trayvon Martin is a big story but people stood up and spoke out about it. That's why its a big deal. If people rally about this story...I'm sure it will get just as much light. Just my opinion.
If you have a comment about my post...please don't tag me in it. I'm not trying to debate this..just wanted to put in my opinion.
@Mimii36 i agree. @captivated because the family did not turn it into a three ring media circus. If you ask me, this crime is what deserves a rally. This crime deserves to be brought to light. Yes, Trayvon Martin was killed. No, it wasn't right. But we don't know all of the facts. People only know what the media is telling us (which isn't all the facts or the entire story). However, in the little boy's case the facts and events are clear. This little boy and his brother are afraid to leave their house for fear of an incident like this occurring again. That deserves social outcry.
I agree. I think this turned into a three-ring circus because of 1. Lack of proper investigation. 2. Construed media reporting 3. Al sharpton.
Why Al Sharpton? Because any time he smells a whiff of a racial dispute, his behind is drooling all over it. He increases racial tension to an exploding point and he is indeed one of the most racist men I have ever known!
"Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country. His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions,” Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller."
Maybe b/c his parents making his story heard what's wrong with that??? I never heard about the little boy its not right either and who said that it was?? This has turned into who's right rather than what's right! To have an appropriate debate you must stick to the subject!
@captivated I couldn't agree more with what he said in that article. He is right. My opinion is, those crimes aren't as "intriguing" or able to be spun by the media or politicians.
@Hot2Cold87 1. The whole story is not being heard. 2. It has turned into a "witch hunt" for a "cracker" as the tshirts call him. 3. In the midst of all the media circus, Al Sharpton, and being turned into politics Trayvon Martin's "story" is losing what it is essentially about.
Lol but I heard even negative publicity is good publicity! And if America wouldn't have been so screwed up we wouldn't need an Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson (not saying that they should be in this case Im haven't formed an opinion on that yet) wouldn't have to worry about it! Imo
@mollysmama you focused on the wrong things boo! Stuff like this bring out the racist I was on a site and a person said "they have their justice that nigger dead" but I'm not focusing and posting stuff like that b/c its pure ignorance as was the cracker statement! Why feed into that? You don't fight fire with fire and stuff like this were its different races involved brings out these things its not important (the side comments) so why entertain it?
A total vulture @mollysmama. He is responsible for so much racism and deaths due to racism. I hope he can sleep at night. He will receive his judgement one day
His involvement is the reason the New Black Panthers have put a price over Zimmerman's head. I thought murder was wrong? That's the reason for this outcry, right? Because a boy was murdered and justice "hasn't been served"? But it's okay to try to murder someone else for being a "P*ssy A** Cracker"? I smellllll hypocrisy!! [-X
@captivated imo Al Sharpton is not helping stand up for racism. He is racist himself. Because of Al Sharpton's involvement and the media, the story of this boy's death is essentially being lost. It has become about race instead of focusing on an investigation and fact. Fact is, a young man died. Fact is, they are continuing to investigate why. It is about the loss of a life, not the color of his skin.
I think he qualifies to be on the list of top ten racist men in America. Right up there with Obama, but makes Obama look like a saint. People need to focus on the crime. Having him be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Race has just become a sideshow for people to express outrage in their bored lives.
