This is our first and I'm really worried how things will be. My husband is supposed to deploy about a month after I'm due but will only get a couple weeks with baby Juliana before he has to move us back to AZ. She will be about 7 months when he gets home, will she be scared of him?
@navywife How do you like Virginia? I have a hospital job opportunity there after I graduate depending on where he is stationed, but I don't anyone anyone who has lived there.
@navybabyonway I was gone for a year and my son was 2 when I got home he was proud to have a mom in the army so just be sure to tell the baby their daddy is doing something great!!
Im pregnant with baby #2, I have a18th month old baby girl and now im having a boy, im 21 weeks right now. My husband is a Marine active duty, and we are stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA. We are originally from FL. We are going through our first deployment right now, and he wont be able to come for the birth of our baby he missed the birth of our first child too.
In the uk here, other half is in the royal marines about to go to afghanistan until september...I'm 5weeks pregnant tomorrow with my first, so scary!! I wish you all best wishes with your pregnancies or your attempts to conceive, and that you/your partners are all returned home safe X
I'm 22. 9 weeks with #3 prior active air force (I miss it so much) husband active air force we were in a highly deployed career field with.no family we trusted to take our kids if we both ended up deploying at the same time so since he had just re-enlisted I got out after #2. I plan on returning when he gets out in 2013. Currently stationed at beale afb CA pcs'd from Patrick afb FL in November.
I am 21 and I am in the Air Force active duty my fiance is a civilian and we plan on getting married next month I am 9 weeks and 4 days currently at Eglin AFB in Florida but I will be going to Charleston AFB South Carolina next month
I am 24.. Partner is in the army in las vegas nellis afb.. I've been feeling pregnant but nothing conclusive yet.. Fingers crossed!! This would be our first and we would be so excited!
I'm 27 and due march 28th. My hubby and I have been together almost 8 years. Married 2. He's been to Afghanistan twice. Currently we are posted in Ottawa but home is Manitoba 2nd battalion princess Patricias Canadian light infantry.
Hey kelseyjo!! I'm at fort hood too! This is also our first baby. Have you gone to the docs yet? I go tomorrow.. but I know they'll just have me pee and leave and make an appt with an obgyn.. according to my last period I am 5 weeks today.
Is your husband deploying anytime soon? Mine is scheduled for quate(sp?) End of the year.. starts nov end jan. I hope he can stay til jan. Then I'll be all alone..
I don't know many people here.. only my daycare parents..
I hate the idea of my child being "an army brat". I knew he might rejoin but he wasn't sure til now.. he is reinlisting for two years Tuesday. he's told me before if he reinlists then he'll just retire from the army.. guess I have a long roller coaster of a life ahead. I love him so much though. Its all worth it.
@itsagirl being active while being a mom is not what I wanted... so a month after my baby gets here I'm making the switch to reserve, I just can't handle the idea of leaving her at day care for 9+ hours a day
I am 15 weeks, hubby is Navy Corpsman. We are at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside California, he is w the 5th Marine Bat. He has 2 year long deployments in the next 3 years and we are having twins >:D<
