  • Wow never heard of it !
  • So dangerous!
  • I am speechless!!! :O
  • I heard its good for them
  • no offense but a lot of blacks n some mexicans do it. i sure as hell dnt
  • So just off of five min of research I have found:

    1. Old wives tale for teething
    2. Chicken bones have gelatin in them which is healthy for humans, BUT they have to be broken down usually into a stew to actually get the health benefits from it.
    3. They aren't even recommended for dogs (though we all knew that one).
    4. There are many chicken bones that have been named the "widow maker" because of many deaths related to the splintering.
    5. CHOKING HAZARD.

I'm sorry, but there are SO many things that a parent can do for teething. Chicken bones is probably one of the least safest routes. I'd rather use a dab of whiskey than a bone. JMO. Whatever floats your boat!
  • lol i just think its gross im one of those ppl that i wouldnt give anything to my kids that i wouldnt eat
  • My sister and dog got into a fight over a bone. Not sure if it was chicken or pork chop lol.
  • My mother said I LOVED them. I would cry for them. BUT I was a toddler. Not a baby.
  • My brother in law is Dominican and his,mom tried to do it with my nephew...my sis was like hell no! Bc one time we were all over her house and they were telling her this. Bc we were trying to dry it and break it, like we did as kids...to get the wish lol and his mom flipped out. And was telling us no the baby needs to chew it...
  • My in laws just gave one of their stupid dogs meat with a bone and he choked n died yesterday ..... If its normal for Hispanic especially Dominicans to do thus mg son will NEVER go over there .... And prime example why I never have let him go over there ....
  • I can handle weird my biggest problem is my mil undermining me .... So if I ask her not to give my kids something or the baby she will do it anyway 0 trust there @mom2ing
  • @mom2ing I've pretty much done that with my inlaws ...... if Luis goes to visit he goes alone..... their loss! We live 10 min away they can come to my house if they want to visit period. Plus until we get a van traveling with entire family we have to use both our cars.
  • I don't even eat chicken with bones in it. Only eat boneless skinless chicken breasts.
