  • You will know when to go. Eveyone told me i would know. I didnt believe them until it started.... still kinda hesitated on going in i was scared and nervous since im ftm. Labor is very beautiful thing. Its also hard to describe. But you will know....
  • @AishaMusa you'll know when your having contractions cause the pain is out of this world but go in when they are close together. I slept threw most of my contractions but when I got up took a shower and started walking around I called my mom and she timed them and they was 5 min apart so I called my doctor and they told me to go to the hospital
  • My water broke at 5:30am didn't feel anything until around 2pm, and that was just a big cramp, along with a gush. I started to feel small contractions around 4-5pm, but they were all sorts of wacky and not regular at all(basically what I was feeling for almost 2 weeks before I had her anyways). Started pitocin a few hours later, and I had her at 10:05pm. I was in active labor for about 3 hours.
  • @AishaMusa your welcome
  • About 10 hours for me from the time water broke until I started pushing.
I was barely having contractions before my water broke, I was just starting to actually realize that they were contractions, then my water broke. 10 hours later was ready to push (although I wonder if I was ready sooner, the nurse went like 2 hours without checking me because the doctor wanted me to wait for her, lol), 2 hours later baby came.
  • I went into the hospital with my water leaking..I got there at 5pm. The doc broke the rest of my water at about 7pm. Started pushing at like 9:15-9:30pm and she was born at 10pm exactly.
  • So from the time I got to the hospital to the time she was born it was 5hrs.
