When should u start taking ur lo to the dentist?

    By the first tooth or first birthday. That's what we recommend.

    @frantastic they can't have too many teeth by their first bday I would think, so what is the point? my friends lo didn't get her first tooth till like a month after she turned one.

    I was told 2 to 3 years old, my oldest didnt get his first tooth though until 15 months, and my LO is almost 9 months and still no teeth!

    Yeah about two-three but start cleaning and looking after them from the moment the first tooth comes through

    I was told by 2 with my son, he's now 6 and we have taken him every 6 months starting with his 2nd birthday. I'll probably start at 18 months since my daughter, who is nearing 13 months, has 8 teeth and counting.

    I was told 6 months but my daughter didn't get teeth till 8 months.. I took her at a year mainly to get her used to the dentist

    My friend who works in pediatric dentistry said after the first birthday, even if they have teeth before.

    Oh but she said to clean them myself now. She gave me a little finger washcloth to use.

    My mom took all 5 of her kids when we turned 2.
    Make sure ur brushing ur lo teeth/gums at home too.
