consequences after a D&C

Hey ladies is me again (iknow I said I was gonna delete the app but I can't I find it to helpful) I have a ? I had just found out last Tuesday that my baby stop developing at 8 weeks when I found out I was suppossed to be 12 weeks!! :-( on on Thursday in the hospital they did a D&C!! They didn't give me much restriction just to be in pelvic rest for to weeks (no interxourse or tampons) its a week already but unfortunately I coulnt wait to have intercourse!! :-( it wasn't much cuze I felt horrible doing it!! (Sorry if its too much info) but I would like to know if any of you ladies know any consequences for not waiting!! I really need help I feel horrible!! I'm scared that someting bad could happened help please!! :-((

    They tell you to wait so things heal faster & get back to normal. It probably wasn't smart to not wait, but unless you have extra spotting or maybe any cramping, it should be fine. Id be honest with your dr when you go back just to be on the safe side.

    I had a D&C last may and I was bleeding and in pain for 3 weeks the first week and a half I could hardley walk so idk how u did it. When you go back for your check up make sure you tell your doc. They did a pap and pelvic on me to make sure it healed right. To be safe I wouldn't do it again. Hope it all works out. Sry about your lose :(

    They say wait in order to heal faster and eliminate chances of infection. I had one when I was 17 and did not wait(only like 3days) following I passed a lot of tissue, but no bleeding,nor did I take the methergine, and other meds. Nothing bad happened to me. But it is absolutely not safe. Its like a big open womb. Penis' carry germs becausethey hang outside the body also because men are sometimes just nasty. You will probably be fine, if you start bleeding heavily and passing clotsbigger than a quarterorsoaking through a pad inan hour you need to go to the ER. They will more thanlikely give you to meds to slowdown bleeding , and maybe go back in to be sure all fetal tissues were removed. Because itcanact as a toxin if left in the body. Stay healthy!
