What system do you use?

Do you use cloth wipes to?

What detergent do you use? Do you have hard water?

    I haven't started yet since my second son is still cooking, but I have a starting amount of the bum genius 4.0 diapers and bought the rockin green detergent. I'm a complete noob with cloth diapers, but my cousins and several coworkers use them and love them, so I'm excited to try! :)

    I love love my pockets!!

    Havnt started useing cloth wipes, but will soon!! I notice my LO breaks out on his bum whenever I use store bought wipes on him!

    I just started useing Crunchy Clean's detergent..but I am not sure I like it..I don't have hard water.

    My most favorite diaper is my Bum Genius Albert!!

    @rtmommy that's awesome!! You will love it! It's so addicting! Your lucky you have friends who already cloth diaper! They can help with any questions! I had to figure it all out myself lol

    That one is adorable. :) They didn't have it on the site I bought all mine from, or I would have bought it. I wish they had more cute prints! Can't wait to use them. Cute lil Ollie!

    Yeah! It's seriously a cloth diapering cult of nurses I work with in PICU. lol they even sold me on a cloth diaper rental service for the NB size so I don't have to do disposable at all if I don't want to. They're awesome support.

    The one in the pic is actually a sunbaby brand. The BG Albert I got on sale at diapers.com the diaper service for newborn is a great idea..they poo so much! You would go thru a ton of dipes. @rtmommy

    Yeah, the Albert is the black one. :) So cute! I'm sure I'll be buying more. I got a good deal on a dozen, so that's what I have for now. The diaper rental worked out so much for my friends. It's only $50 for 3 months and as long as you return them in good shape, you get part of that money back. It's awesome.

    My favorite are fitteds or AI2s
    I like pockets okay I just hate stuffing. Lol
    We use cloth wipes I made, double sided flannel
    It's nice to be able to throw everything in the same bag.
    We use the laundry tarts currently, but will probably start making my own.
    My favorite diaper is a ruffle but frown Diaper Donks. It's sooo cute!!

    My baby is still cooking too. My mother in law is going to make them for me. I am just nervous on cleaning them. Do you rinse them first with water to get the poop out. How many diapers do you need.

    It will be my husband mostly doing it because he will be watching her or my mil

    @jodi102011 it's pretty easy. If you breastfeed baby you don't have to rinse because Breastmilk poo is water soluble. I done have experience with formula fed poo but I heard its buttery so that you do rinse. Also when you introduce solids. You will see the difference. They sell water sprayers that hook up to the toilet that helps rinse your diapers, or you can dunk and swish in a bucket or toilet. Its really easy. Good luck with your baby!!

    We have around 35 diapers and wash every 2 days. We also do a lot of naked time so we can sometimes go longer between washes if a lot of diapers weren't used. The diaper sprayer can Ned found on eBay or online cloth diaper stores like kissedbythemoon.com

    I have 60 prefolds, and a few covers. I wash every 2-3 days, but I stopped using them since our other lo came...don't have much time to eat let alone wash diapers!

    No I haven't @ashley_smashley but I really want to. It's a good way to start my newborn stash. I seriously love that store!! Dobson really get more for your money?

    I have about 35 diapers and do wash every 2-3 days. We use dry pails as well. I've started making diapers and I think DD and LO on the way will have plenty of diapers to still have that wash routine. Its second nature to me now and I love folding diaper laundry!

    I like my pockets! But starting to love my AIOs!
    I just hate that they take forever to dry!!!
    I use rocking green n tide, and cloth wipes.
    Im gonna have to just make my own already! Hahaha... I feel like would be more expensive since I'd have to get supplies...one day

    I have pics...but ill just post in the group..since its easier! Lol..maybe later ill get on the computer and post
