EarthMama I went into pre-term labor! At first, I thought they were braxton hicks contractions so I wasn't going to go in to assessment room. Then they started getting a little stronger but they were still only 15-20 minutes apart and not bad (just like a mild period cramp). But I was tossed on going to get looked at or not. I finally decided it was better safe then sorry so I went in and they hooked me up and ran tests and sure enough they were real contractions and a lot more frequent then I realized....apparently I didn't feel all of them. Anyway, they gave me a shot of tributaline to stop the contractions and kept me there for hours to monitor me. Once everything was clear they sent me home to rest....moral of the story, when in doubt go check it out. I almost didn't go because I was like, no, they are just braxton hicks, and I didn't want to be all neurotic and all but thankfully I did because if I had waited any longer there is no telling what would of happened.
