Hi, sweetie, I don't know your whole story but I do want to offer you some insight... I had my baby boy at 18, was in love and commited to my ex, graduated high school and was accepted to CSF. My ex begged me to have his baby, so we tried and by July 2005 I was pregnant. Immediately, he freaked, told me to abort or he was out of my life. I resolved to do it alone and was excited to be a mommy, something I have always wanted. I had a complicated pregnancy, almost died, and delivered my 1lb 7oz preemie at 25 weeks. He was tiny and fragile and fighting for life. I practically lived in the NICU for three months and had to face losing my baby multiple times at 18 alone!! I brought him home finally at three months old and he (and i) went through intense therapy to help him reach his milestones until he was three at which point I found out he is autistic. We now go through therapy three times a week, and have evaluations monthly... its hard, really really hard.May 2011-
myowndisaster23I love him and if I could go back and change my decision I wouldn't, but I want you to understand that there is that chance that your whole life could change. I got lucky in that I found s man who loves me and my son and is deeply involved in his therapy but not everymam is willing to sacrifice that much for a child who is not theirs. I am not trying to change your mind but I was in your same situation but I never realized when they say a baby changes your life they really do! ...its crazy how having money makes a difference...with the new stem cell research developments...I was informed that being able to keep the cord blood could improve a babys ability to overcome autistic traits with a transfusion. The nurse that explained it to us stressed that it only works if its the original cord blood...
I'm kind of torn..because its expensive to keep...but, it may prove to be invaluable, if there are complications..

I got pregnant with my first daughter at 18 and yes we tried. I'm still married to my Hubby and we are on number 2 now and yea things were hard but we made it and honestly she was the best decision I had ever made in my life back then. She literally saved me from possibly overdosing on pills. I don't know your situation but I understand ttc young. I'm here if you need any support!May 2011-
crazyhmommyMy lil girl did the same thing, she was two weeks and I was feeling horrible went thru a break up and bd got with a new girl, I had a bunch of narcotics I was gonna use and was in the middle of writing a bye letter for everyone when I was holding her, she then had moved and her hand went over my heart, I realised I couldn't do itbecause my heart was hers now,

Hey I read your post sorry about how some girls are, ill support you, despite your age because there's a lot of girls who get prego young and don't want the baby but at least if and when you do concieve at least you'll want it and love the baby, always love the baby, I had my first at 19 and just recently may 6 had my new lil girl, I'm not and I wont judge you because age doesn't make a good mommy, its the love and support for the lil one, at least to me, good luck on everything hope you get your + soonMay 2011
