I'm so excited about finally being able to join & post. I got the app back in March when I was pregnant & have been following along with a lot of your stories. Your advice was so helpful through out my pregnancy even if you guys didn't know it. I'm a ftm, had my son 10/12/11 on my best friends birthday :-) I can't wait to be able to ask my questions now instead of waiting hoping someone asks what I'm thinking lol.

Poor kid. I peed my pants at school in third grade and it was super embarrassing. Hopefully she gets over it because accidents happen. I'd go with her to her next class though in case any parents or kids are mean to her.

My friend had her son prematurely so he was at her baby shower. Since he was her first she didn't have anything and was scrambling to get stuff at the last minute.

Nice :)

At least you have your gram to help out. Feel better and who knows, if you cough yourself into labor maybe it'll go quicker lol.

Bummer. I had a cold at the end of my pregnancy too. It sucks because you can't take anything and peeing your pants sucks. I'm still having trouble with that. Feel better.

I haven't talked to the dr yet but he's only 8 days old. He does cry when he spits up. He is really hard to burp and seems really gassy. I'm not sure if its colic or reflux but either way it's stressing me out. @kenzie0713

I think that's a reasonable request. You're close enough so hopefully your doc is cool. Good luck.

My son turned 2 in October and he's a chatter box. But he goes to daycare and I swear as soon as he started school his vocabulary exploded.

It's slow for sure but still better with less drama. @jules is right with most of us on our second and third kids who has time to be on the phone.

I've never smoked but I've been told that its harder to quit smoking than it is to quit heroine. I think cutting back is a great start. Just remember once upon a time women used to smoke and drink while pregnant and nobody thought twice about it. Mo…

@jules you aren't supposed to give children under age 2 honey because of botulism. It's very dangerous. @adriens_mommy try putting LO in a steamy bathroom or using a vaporizer.

Dang @jules my little dude has had everything contagious imaginable. I'll try opening the windows, I think his ped actually said something about that. This whole thing is stressing me out right now.

I think monostat is ok. If you're sure that's what you have then use it. No sense suffering with an itchy whoo ha until Monday.
-
It's super annoying. I have an iPhone so I can't even get the app, I have to go through the browser. Hang in there @jules we're almost there :)

Yaaayyyy! Let the count down begin.

White hair and black hair are different so that could be why some people have such different experiences. The baby oil worked great for me but it may not be for everyone. I also shaved my sons head at 3mo because the cradle cap was so bad that I wan…

I was 2 or 3 yrs old when my mom had mine done and I remember not so much it hurting, just me being scared by the whole thing. If I had girls, I would do it when they're little so they don't remember. And I'm sure it's easier to take care of when th…

I used baby oil and a fine baby comb. I put the oil on first at the start of bath so it could soak in, then washed his body, then I would wash his hair and gently massage/comb his scalp and hair to loosen and remove the flakes.

My husband and I have talked to them and they always say "oh we're sorry" and they'll do ok for a while but then they just fall back into their old habits. It's super frustrating. I don't want to be mad at them because they mean well but i…

Poor @jules you're getting the opposite of the crap I'm getting. Maybe I can give you some of the "too much" weight I've gained lol. Try not to stress, you're tiny and so your babies will be tiny as well. What do they want you to have a 10…

Disgusting :(

Were the antibiotics for his ears? Because HFM is viral. My son had it this last spring and its a nasty bug. I'm sorry your little guy is so sick, that has to suck. Especially being so close to your DD. The ear tubes are a pretty simple procedure. M…

Lol!! Hella funny :)

I feel like they (Drs & Wic & everyone else) worry too much about weight. I'm 34wks and I've gained 30lbs and they keep telling me I'm too heavy. I feel your frustration because its not like we have much control over all this.

I'm in the same boat, my son just turned 2 in Oct and boy #2 is due Dec 12th. I have no idea what to do as far as schedules and routines for both of them. Maybe @Wilsomom has some ideas. She's like the queen if this stuff :)

Congrats :)

I've heard the older you get the harder it is to recover. My coworker was in late 30s when she had her twins and it was really tough on her. Heck I'm 28 and ready to pop and I feel like I'm dying half the time.

I agree with @musicmomma the drama was too much. I used to just lurk and only read posts because of the drama. There were certain people who I'm glad are gone because they made things very uncomfortable and would bully you if you dared post an opini…

I liked my electric pump much better than the hand one. I ended up giving the hand pump I had away because it took too long and I got too tired using the stupid thing.

They should give moms on leave temporary food stamps that is an awesome idea. My husband is an independent contractor and so it's very hard to prove the exact amount he makes. I'm going to at least try because I think we can make it happen. Even if …
