I wouldnt keep baby up as long as possible bc they need sleep to help their brains develop. Troublesometots.com has a good chart that gives you research based guidelines for sleep. A 3 week old should only be awake a max of 1 hr 45 min between nap…

My son has reflex. He sleeps in his swing which keeps him at a 45 degree angle. Also I try to keep him upright for 30 min after each feeding. He is on zantac also. I also make sure he burps after every feeding-he is bf.

I think Dr. Sears might have an article on his website about this bc he talked about it on the Doctors the other day. Basically you dont want to keep him from his paci or thumb bc at such an early age this is how babies get comfort. Dr. Sears did …

I caused my own over supply when I was pumping to get rid of a plugged duct. What Im doing now is block feeding and.it has helped get my supply in line. I feed my baby on one breast for a designated amt of time. For example for 3 hours I will onl…

Do u feel a bump? I had a plugged duct forever--nothing was working including a hospital grade pump. I had a bump so I used cabbage the size of the bump to dry it out....I am much much happier bc of it.

My sons ezcema doesnt look blotchy like that. Although the redness does seem to flare up if he cries.

My son sleeps in his swing until he wakes up to eat then he usually stays in bed with me. Sleeping in a swing is ok--once baby is older u can ween him from the swing. I use techniques from troublesometots.

I am too! My son is 2 months old--so not much to do with him before he has to nap or eat again! This is the first time Ive been home. I will be home until March or until I find another job (I quit my last job).

Im pretty sure babies under 1 yr old should not be fed honey. Something about the spores in honey not being digestable in their tummies. I would call her doc.

I suggest you go to www.troublesometots.com and use some of her techniques. Babies need a lot of help getting to sleep but unfortunately no one tells us how to help them sleep. Good luck!

They usually grow out of it around 3-4 months-- I know thats a long time! Im surprised she wont nurse bc its supposed to be comforting for them. If nothing is helping the docs will most likely diagnose her with colic--which is just 3 hrs of uncons…

Oh and if ur bf put her to nurse...even if shes not eating she may calm down..my son does.
