Mine is pretty weird. Cotton balls and that corn flour stuff. Can't remember what its called. There's something about the texture of both that grosses me out.
Clausterphobic, EXTREMELY!!!! I can't stand to be in any small places, I can't even reach to the back of the closet because I will start to hyper ventilate!
Extremely afraid of anything that jumps frogs, fish, grasshoppers, etc. I even freak out if my kids jump on my leg or the bed.
And clowns!!! Yikes they have always freaked me out, when I was little I hit a clown in the....um.....yeah, because he was a little to close for comfort.
I wouldn't say I have a phobia but I have severe ocd. My food cannot touch at all. Like my steak can't touch my potatoes. Everything has to be on divied plates or on separate plates. I wont eat it if it's touching. I freak out. I've done it since I was like 7. Ohh and I only eat one thing at a time and when im done with that part I while my fork off. I don't drink anything till im done eating either.... its very weird and frustrating.. that's just one of my ocd things though. All my friends think its weird as hell how I eat so they all watch me lol
Mine are feet, fish, and not being able to see the land on the other side of the water...no idea why I'm scared of fish but I almost cry seeing them even gold fish!!
Mice, rats, roaches omg!! I scream. I get grossed out I get all itchy everywhere even right now talking about it gives me chills. Also feet ewwwww! Lol I also freak out when your in the highway and theres a big truck and your car is next too it omg it scares me its like I feel like its going to crash into us or something.
The dark! Terribly! I'm so glad I'm not the only one! Lol... after I turn off the hall light at night I run to our room- every night!- and our hall is only a few feet long! I have nightlights throughout the house, and even that's not enough! =(
Balloons and cats are my phobia. My mom dressed me as a bag of jelly beans for Halloween when I was younger and after I came in 1st place for the costume contest all the kids started chasing me around popping my balloons. The popping noise scares me so the sight of a balloon freaks me out. Ive had a couple bad experiences with cats/kittens and I just think they are evil with their sharp little claws. I see a balloon or a cat and I start having a panic attack.
@MomOfThree EVERYONE thinks its hilarious when they mix my food together while im not looking and then i refuse to eat.... it drives me insane!! It completely grosses me out. Then people say why does it matter it's all going to the same place.... Yeahh that may be the case but it all has a different texture and taste individually and I don't like to mix.
@kara_lamek I can't eat certain things because of texture I can't stand jello or gummies I love strawberry flavors like drinks but I can't eat strawberries. I totally know where you are coming from!
My phobias are weird. I am obsessed with them! I'm deathly afraid of spiders, but if I see one, I won't go ANYWHERE near it, but I won't leave the room til it's dead or caught and disposed of. I will research spiders and other insects (I fear anything with a carapace or exoskeleton) until I fall asleep on the keyboard. They facinate me, but if one touches me or comes anywhere near me, I'll start screaming and bawling my eyes out. My ex thought it was hilarious to chase me with dead spiders or those shells that ciadadas leave behind. My other fear is needles. I knew they'd eventually draw blood and do lab work and whatnot with being pregnant, but on my first visit?!! I freaked out. They sent me to the lab to get blood drawn. Mom went with me. We had recorded baby's heartbeat on my phone, and I was bawling and refusing to sit in the chair (it didn't help that she trapped me in the chair with the swiveling arm thing when I finally did sit down). Mom held up my phone and told me to just think of the baby. Once she stuck me, she had to draw four vials of blood. After she started the first vial, I stopped crying and watched the blood and the way the needle maneuvered my skin around. The nurse was very good, but that didn't stop me from flinching every time she switched vials. o_O
My biggest two would be fish and the dentist. Number one being the dentist. I get such bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist that I will start hyperventilating and crying lol it sucks. I have to get laughing gas every time I go. And with the fish, its the ones in lakes and rivers that freak me out. I don't mind the ones in tanks. I wont touch water if I can see fish it in but out of sight out of mind lol.
Odd numbers!! I can't have the tv or radio sound on an odd number.. my wedding date had to be on an even number.. I hate the idea of only having one or three kids.. we agreed on two. My oldest brother is pretty much the same way with the volume and stuff.. I'm to so bad as to were I count how much chips I eat..
I also have a fear of the dark and being alone.. I start to freak out and see and hear things..
I'm pretty much afraid of everything. The dark, spiders, snakes, mice, and pretty much all bugs. I am also afraid of heights...I hate ladders! I also hate stairs that have space between each step. I always picture myself slipping and falling through that space. I am always extra careful when I'm on an escalator. When I was little, I saw an old man tumble all the way down one because his trench coat got caught.
I have the worst fear of insects. Seriously a bug flew in my car while I was driving and OMG I jumped out the car at a green light while car was still moving. I have panic attacks at the sight of bees. I ran through a screen door from a bee. I cry and freak out from spiders. And centipedes are so scary I will not stay in the house until its dead. Im so afraid because I will be pregnant during the summer and that's when insects come out. Every one thinks I'm too dramatic but they're creepy and make my flesh crawl...
