is it true that if you have a tattoo on your belly that it will stretch during pregnancy and not go back to its original size?

I think it depends on where it is and how big you get. My tattoo did get bigger, but it still looks good (thank goodness) its on my lower right stomach and I had twins. My best friend had one barely above her pubic bone and is almost finished w her second pregnancy and its exactly as it was before

I'm my sister is a size 1 when not pregnant and her tatto looks okay but just streched a lil and the color fades

ok thanks guys .... mine is just above my hip so hopefully will stay the same... luckily my tattooist is a very good friend so he will fix me if it does streth lol.

I have tattoo going all the way around it got big with me but went back never had stretched out haven't had to get it touched up this is my third pregnancy

I have a big one that goes from my back around to my belly and it hasn't stretched and I was alot bigger with my first pregnancy then this one. And it still look new. I just think it depends on how big u get and if you keep it lotioned or not. I kept mine lotioned all the time.

Lol, it totally depends on whether your belly goes back to normal. you'll prob need some touching up, the color might fade in a few places. Stretch marks will change the look of it a bit, but not drastically.
