Advice...

I need help in how to get adjusted and give up on so many bad habits!
By me working so early, I drink atleast 2 cups of coffee a day, I eat alot of junk food, I use alot of
facial cleansers, and moisterizers, on my skin. I have been reading articles that says these things aren't
healthy for the baby. Should I be careful in lifting things especially at work?

  • You don't have to give up your coffee and junk food completely. Try to cut back to 1 cup a day or switch to half caff coffee. Same thing with the junk food. No need to deprive yourself completely... Just make small adjustments to add in fruits and veggies.

    As far as the lifting at work, you should be able to continue to lift weights in the same amount that you did prior to pregnancy as long as your doctor gives you the green light.
  • yes i heard nothing more than five pounds and try not to raise ur arms above ur head cuz it lowers the chance of the cord hurting the baby..moisterizers r fine and so r the cleansers..and i drink a cup of coffe everyday as long as u dont drink to much they say if ur shakey abd kinda jittery that the baby is too so jus use in moderation..hope this helped a lil..how far along r u?

  • congrats and try not to stress to much i also had a m/c 2 years ago..and yes thats my babygirl kristie dawn it was takin at 30 weeks im 32 weeks and 3 days now lol..i wish u lots of luck

  • yeah very i am getting induced may 13 at 39 weeks (my doc schedules almost every delivery) this is my first so i have no idea what to expect
  • I heard the samething not to be lefting over your head. I used to drink soda like crazy but after I found out I was pregnant I gave it up I maybe have 2 a week. But drink a lot of juice water and milk. Junk food isn't bad as long as your eating other good foods with it. I haven't had coffee in almost 2 years.

  • @Gemini I could be in tour caffeine anonymous group! I have cut my coffee way back. From 2-3 extra large a day ( about 20 oz each) to 1 12 oz half decaf half reg. And also wanted to let you know that you have to make sure the @ symbol has no space after it before the name of there person your referencing. Just fyi!
