  • My dr told me everyone gets them, some just never feel them. So you're fine don't worry :)
  • Really? I haven't felt a thing and my doctor really sucks. Or should I say Doctors? I see a different one every week :/ they don't check anything is specific or anything . I'm worried I'm not being taken care of :(
  • This is my third pregnancy, and to my knowledge, i have never had braxtons... Im weird though, i didnt feel contractions with my kids
  • Until they gave me pitocin
  • What's pitocin? O.o
  • I had 'em and they were uncomfortable. Not painful like the real ones, but still annoying. From my understanding they are like practice contractions as your body prepares to contract the uterus and help get the baby out. But maybe your body doesn't need any practice! Don't worry about not having them. I'm sure the real ones will more than make up for them. ;)
  • @ mom2b23, if you are able, try to schedule your appointments more than 1 at a time so you have a better likelihood of seeing the same doc. I saw 4 different doctors during the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy and all of 'em told me something different when they stuck their finger up there to see about the progress I was making towards labor. I wouldn't say you're not being taken care of, but I know how annoying that is.
  • pitocin is the drug that helps bring on contractions
  • Theyre giving me the pitocin today afterall x) I'm so nervous
