Training dog for baby?? any advice or comments welcome:)

I have a 9 month old german shepard, Athena. I'm a bit nervous about how my puppy will react,when we bring home baby. She is very well manered and good with my neighbors kids. Any advice about getting her ready for the baby?

O lord a german shep. They are crazy lol. Well train her to stay off furniture, out of the bedrooms, not to jump on people, teach her to sit. Get her on a feeding schedule if she isnt already.. just a few ideas.. if she chews work on that too..

My f-i-l took home the tiny hat that they put on the baby after delivery for his dog to smell and get used to.

she's good about furniture jumping, knows lots of commands, just gets excited when she sees us like we haven't been home in years. I heard that about the smell, thank you ladies

Before baby comes home get a life size doll and a cd of a crying baby wrap the doll and treat it like its real make it smell like baby powder and lotion rock it burp it the things you are going to be doing with your baby play the cd behind u statr soft then ad volume and either praise or correct as you need to after baby is born have someone bring a blanke or onesie that the baby has been wearing home for the dog to smell before u come home with baby
