I'm a waitress I'm going to work as long as possible and then ill be taking my 50 weeks paid maternity and then I don't know if I will stay home or go back to work.
I'm a sixth grade teacher. Due with my second baby Aug. 30, right before school starts, then I'll take 6 weeks off. At least I'll get the whole summer off to relax and get ready for the baby!
I have the mind numbing job of data entry of toxicology forms for an international diagnostics company. After This baby is born I'm taking my 6w off then going part time, cause the pay cut is cheaper then daycare for a toddler and infant. Probably get a fast-food or fedex packing job after the husband gets home from work to help out with bills.
I am an IT Application Launch Manager at a 3PL. I am having baby#3 and will have to go back after 7-8 weeks. Wish I could stay home, but I am the bread winner in the family. ,
@jamie77- my company used to coordinate the deliveries of the ice cream cups to Turkey Hill.
I'm a full time dog grooming salon manager. Just got promoted a few months ago. I'm taking 3 weeks off after my baby is born. My hubby is going to be a stay at home daddy.
It's a great company, great pay but my hours! 11p_7a. I'm nervous that the baby will sleep all night for the sitter, and not nap for me during the day, when I sleep.. Oh lordy!!
@natashalynn- I am so jealous... The US medical leave sucks! I think we must have one of the worst. Even China gets more paid maternity leave than we do in the US.
I am a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and an ex truck driver. My Hubby & I decided to quit in September then in December we found out that after 11 1/2 yrs of marriage, we were finally pregnant. I was told to stay home & he's a regional truckers.
I am a portrait and wedding photographer and work for my self, so I make my own hours with that. I also work full time for a major hotel chain, waitressing in their sports bar. And im a mommy to a very energetic 15 month old boy, and due with #2 in september. I love all my jobs!
Im a stay at home mom, we had the same problem @mommyoftwoprincesses. My entire paycheck each month was going towards our two kiddos being in daycare so i decided just to stay at home. I love it (most days!)
I'm a front desk agent (11pm-7am shift) and I will be working until 2 weeks before I'm due and taking a year off. (I live in Canada) I plan on going back to work for the same company since they were awesome the last time I left them for maternity leave. Lol
