Is she kicking OUT of me?? and fetal hiccups...

I'm 31 weeks and I'm curious if my baby is already positioned downwards because when she gets hiccups (which is 5x a day or more) I feel them actually down by my pelvic area. Also sometimes when she moves it feels like she is going to slip out! She is getting lower and lower. Will she move or stay in the downward position until delivery? Lately I always feel her kicks at the top of my belly or side..

  • This is exactly how I feel my baby move! Im 35w though lol. I cant exactly answer any questions :) but good luck all the same!
  • Your doctor should tell you if she is..I'm 35 weeks my baby has been in the head down position for 4 weeks and my midwife said she should stay that way until delivery although some babies do turn from head down...my baby girls head is way down by my vagina her back goes up to the right so her butt is right by my ribs and her feet are on my left side when she hiccups I feel them by my vagina and up her back she then gets mad and kicks my left side so I feel it all over my belly...she has moved lower and getting ready to come out! But my midwife told me her position so I know she is face down like she is supposed to be and likes to stick her butt up lol
  • Im 33 weeks and my baby is head down. I get these same feelings when baby is active. I really dont enjoy feeling like a hand might come out my vajayjay lmao. Haha baby hiccups keep me up half the night sometimes lol.
  • I also get the same feelings and I'm almost 29 weeks. I don't know for sure if my baby is head down but the feeling is very uncomfortable when he moves.
  • My lil girl has been head down since 28 weeks and Im 37 weeks now...
  • With my daughter i was 41weeks when i lost my plug..n i went into labor right after..had her a day later..good luck baby is coming soon!!!
  • Hey sry!! I meant to comment on another post..oops! Im knew on this..
  • @ARand89 its hard to get advice from my "doctor" because I am army and Army medical centers arent the same as civilians because we dont go as often. I only go like every 4 weeks and Im in my 3rd trimester..so I havent seen a doctor in a while unless something is wrong of course but I am very healthy and not high risk so its not really neccesary. But I will ask on my next visit for sure.
    @onemoreontheway I completely agree with you! I dont like that feeling either lol Last night she actually flipped and when she had the hiccups I could feel them at the top of my belly instead of the bottom like normal. Im sure she will flip back though ;)

    @lululov3 Its okay :)
  • @Hayleegracesmommy4 well it sounds as if she is in the head down position...my midwife says babies usually get in to position anywhere from 28 weeks on...some even sooner but there are always those select few that are breach in that case the doctor may have to manually try to turn your baby which is extremely painful but they will try that before a c section if they can't then most likely they would give you a c section so I hope your baby has turned or will soon! They thought they would need to do that to my cousin but he did it on his own at 35-36 weeks
  • im 19w5d I just felt my daughter hiccups today it was soo sweet I was smiling & all lol
  • @ARand89 my daughter is in the same position so I know how u feel... I feel like she tries to poke her booty out on my ribs
